Shiiiiid, I'd be surprised if that fight happens. If it does, good job Floyd.

DEPENDING on how he looks in his next fight. Right now, I'm still super high on Thurman for looking uber good. If he looks **** in his next fight, and gets KD multiple times, THEN I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd picks him.

He'll get a mysterious injury, and sideline himself until the WW picture is more clear, or until the weakest option out of the bunch sneaks in with a good win.

Floyd reminds me of a Lion that picks out the weak and sick, or the young calfs.

Honestly, with the way he's been looking and his constant progression, I can't see anyone in the GBP stable at 147 giving him much trouble outside of Floyd. I think Thurman beats Guerrero, Khan, Alexander, Broner, Maidana, and Porter on paper (of course he would have to prove it). So if he can beat 1 or 2 of those fighters before September, I want Floyd vs Thurman, September 2014!

None of those guys even matter, except for Porter.

Winner of Porter/Thurman is the truth, and a SOLID fight for Floyd. I mean, hardcore boxing fans dream type solid.

Winner of Thurman/Porter would get hyped up to Matthysse and beyond levels. Believe that.

LOLOLOL I can see that. But you know what? I change my mind. I want Thurman to fight Porter first, have Danny Garcia take a fight at 147 (and win) then assuming Thurman and Danny win, have them fight; winner gets Floyd. That would be wonderful

I like Danny a lot but I don't think he beats Thurman. Thurman is seriously going to be a force, the kid can box. ****. Good technique. Good power. Young. Not a POS like Broner.

The only person at 147 that beats Thurman out of GBP is Floyd.

Now that's what I'm talking about. That's how you build up a Floyd opponent.

You've gotta imagine if Danny wins, he won't be so cautious of a Floyd fight anymore. Imagine his confidence levels at that point.

I'm a huge Thurman fan, but don't sleep on Porter. Trust.

I completely agree, but I will never doubt Danny lol. Dude has proved me wrong too many times. But the reason I would want to see that fight (outside of me thinking it will be entertaining as hell) is because the winner of that fight will truly be deserving of a shot at Floyd.
