I like Groves, but I don't think he has the style to develop an American following. Most Americans didn't even see his Froch fight, which is the main thing he has going for him. He should stick to a British promoter and continue building his brand at home.

Amir Khan was flashy with fast hands and got a lot of publicity from the Roach/Pacquiao connection so he did okay over here. I don't think Groves could do the same.

I can see him going with DiBella. Think that's the best move for him if he does leave. DiBella has international reach and it wouldn't be wise to get stuck on one of the cold warring companies especially at SMW/LHW

Ive been following him for a couple yrs now and I was excited to see him fight on that undercard last year.. I think it was in San Jose maybe?...against Santana.

I thought he got a pretty good reaction from the fight. More than I imagined that's for sure. Obviously nobody knew who he was beforehand, but I thought he made a connection. This is a talent I want to see taken to its limits, if that can happen in the UK fine..but I'd love to see him fight here more often.

IMO Groves puts a beating on Chavez Jr., Abraham, Kessler and Stieglitz, but will struggle with Bika and Ward. 175 is a different matter.
Movin with a US promoter is the wrong step fool, it stops any hope of a Froch rematch and that's the biggest fight out there Groves. 168 is a dead division, ain't no names out there except Froch and Ward, plus the whole US tv network dispute, who Groves gon fight if he gets with GBP?? Or what if he gets with TR, that cuts out all GBP fighters.

Groves gota think with his head not his heart

and if someone like Macklin can get the exposure and chances he got with Dibella so can Groves who i believe can get picked up by Golden Boy
