In America we eat our heroes. We want to spit on them, call them ****svckers and then when they react we say "Hey!! for that money they should let people abuse them!" Think about it for a moment....you want to grab a quick brunch, or you are in the airport, tired, just want to get home and here comes some douche who feels he has the right to harass you and ask you questions because you are famous. After a few of these douches you lose it and lash out....But hey that douchebag has the right to bother you, to annoy your family, and god help you if you lash out and hurt the douche.

People believe celebrities have it made, because of a misplaced sense of envy... Especially given the general intelligence level of this site these idiots would have one believe that Mike Tyson, as a consenting adult, with mentorship and council representing his interests, initially as a 13 year old adolescent, knew what he was getting into and willigly chose this path.

Tyson was pimped by people who knew what he could do in a boxing ring. Sycophants like King made millions off of Mike. So Mike comes around and starts acting like a responsible adult and these same idiots think the less of him for it. After all, Mike made millions right? How ignorant can one be? Mike made jack**** compared to the money he made others folks....

There is no pleasing people whom, because of a lack of satisfaction with life, enjoy it when somenone percieved as "lucky" takes a fall. Schadenfraud is the liquor most of these people live off of....Why? because if one has never been faced with having responsability and power then that individual cannot know how hard that situation can be to deal with.

Nobody seems to notice that the same people that benefitted from Tyson being an animal in the ring were all con****ious by their absence when Tyson needed guidance, mentorship and help. Who was there to prevent King from fleecing Tyson? Who was there to mentor Mike about right and wrong?

Tyson really did have to lift himself up by his own bootstraps....What is sad is not Tyson, who will have at least some measure of real success by confronting his problems constructively...rather it is the American media, always waiting for a celeb to take a fall, and the public....who believe that you can pay someone a certain amount of money to harass them, take away their privacy, and delight in their misfortune.
