Everyone has an opinion. I wouldn't put anymore weight on tyson's than the next guy.

The fight will never ever happen but my view is that Mayweather would capitalise on Pacquiao's uber aggression over and over again until he KO's him late. I doubt Pacquiao would let up allowing Mayweather to cruise to a UD.

I think every fighter has an extreme (minority) fan base. You know, the guys that think Mayweather would wipe the floor of SRL. Mayweather's is a little bigger than most but it is still a minority.

Most people look at Pacquiao and just see the force of nature that he is, a non stop punching machine, speed power.

Tyson sees his skills, the footwork the angles he creates the feints his accuracy, a lot of these things get over looked

It's subjective. But theory wise, mayweather > pacquiao. But in boxing nothing is certain; and if they don't fight that's nothing but just pure speculation.

We all know marquez isn't mayweather and styles makes fight. The big difference is volume of punches thrown when counter punching. It will be hard to defeat an elite like pacquiao if the punch ratio is 400:900 or 500:1100 which both of them are known to throw and very capable of. The hope for mayweather, is to be accurate enough or knockout pacquiao out, but this is pacquiao, a fellow ultra elite and is a very accurate fighter himself and a dynamic mover, very unpredictable inside the ring because he creates a lot of angles only he can see and create.

What marquez is literally doing there is just throw lots of counter punching, hoping for his chin to withstand manny's attacks and deliver his sharp counters. That's why they will always have a very close fight.

The danger for floyd is that there is no way of escaping a manny pacquiao fight unscathed, you will be in hell no matter what, whether you want it or not. Whether floyd will quick enough to dodge pacquiao's ultra fast combos remains to be seen, he hasn't fought someone with a combination of quickness, unpredictability of punches by using angles and furious combination with great accuracy.

All of these scenarios are pure speculation, and we will never have accurate result unless, we see them finally fight, remember both of these are ultra elites they are geniuses in the ring. Floyd defensively and Manny offensively. We will never know what adjustments they will be doing in the ring because only them are capable of it, not us, them, they are the geniuses of sweet science.
