The only way to bait an insecure Floyd to fight Manny is if Manny were to sign a big contract with HBO that would guarantee him $35-$40 million per fight, and i think that would motivate Floyd to try to prove that he should be the one to make more money than Manny by fighting him.
Why would HBO throw that kind of money at Manny? His PPV numbers are dwindling and he's at the end of his career. Floyd's demand for more money isn't some bizarre psychological condition, rather a calculus that's reality based. Floyd is a businessman out to make as much money as he can, he's the #1 star in the sport, has better numbers than Pacquiao, and hasn't been violently KO'd a couple fights ago.

HBO is running a business, they aren't going to shower losers with huge piles of cash. Besides, Once Arum, the IRS and Manny's entourage get there cut he'll be left with little more than cab fare.

They can't laugh at stuff like this because every act by Floyd has an underlying meaning that has something to do with "ducking," beating women, or being an all around shady guy. Every sort of racial stereotype is used to describe him by those that oppose him, and used with a fervor so extreme there's no way they can laugh at anything, because anything he does is ostensibly a threat.

Its actually pretty sad to watch grown men abandon reason, critical thinking all in an effort to not just degrade Mayweather but define his every action on their terms with their prejudices. This is the nature of a mindless nut mollusk.....

    • Imagine if Floyd beat Kosta, Margarito, prime Cotto and Pacquiao. He'd go down as not only the undisputed greatest but even richer than he is now.

Instead he retired, came back to cheat a lightweight on the scales moving up, old Mosley, a twice-defeated Cotto, and drum roll please.......... Robert, The Ghost, Guerrero! (I don't mention Canelo because I feel he actually stepped up and devoured the kid and deserved his props and payday).

I don't expect Floyd to change his cherry picking ways though. He'll fight Kahn on May 3rd and Maidana/paulie-level fighter in September just how Floydiots like it. Enjoy your lambs to be slaughtered

I love triangle theories. You can justify anything through triangle theories.

His last option khtfo. So now he has no leverage. Had he accepted the 50/50 offer leverage wouldn't be an issue.

            • It's funny how the "fans" are saying how bad Mayweather's tweet is and in the same breath calling him a cowardly, ducking, chicken. I guess they're the only one allowed to clown Mayweather but the audacity for him to do it to Pacquiao.

I also like how they dismiss the random tests and $40M offer as a ploy by Mayweather to avoid the fight as if Pacquiao had no other choice but to say no.

If Mayweather's tweet was more supportive I'm sure they would accuse him of trying to be nice to Pacquiao so he wouldn't want to fight him.

Yes. $40 flat with no upside would not have been fair at all. 40%= reasonable. 40$ Mil= not. I'll bet Floyd thanked his lucky stars PAC declined

Yeah, Floyd is clearly scared. I mean when pac called Floyd and offered him his largest payday of his career 40 million Floyd was to scared to accept. And when pav agreed to give flood a 50/50 split and all pac wanted Mayweather to do was take the same drug test that he was taking himself Floyd refused to test starting that he was afraid of needles, then Floyd said only if he could pick the days he was tested, then Floyd said only if the testing stops 21 days before the fight. Then pac being the nice and fearless guy he is says he'll meet Floyd half way on the testing cutoff and no test will be done inside of 14 days of the fight. But Floyd got really scared and turned down the biggest payday of his career because of a slew of excuses and fights someone tailor made for him for much less money.
