Comments Thread For: Naazim: Khan Can Rebuild His Rep With Mayweather Fight

Veteran trainer Naazim Richardson is not picking Amir Khan to win a potential fight with WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - but he's confident that Khan can restore a lot of his thunder by simply "doing well" in the fight. Khan's career has taken some big bumps after losing back to back fights to Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia, and then struggling in his decision win over veteran Julio Diaz.

I heard golovkin threw a punch in new york and the wind from the punch traveled to the uk and knocked Khan out.

      No, no, no!

Why should Khan rebuild his rep with the P4P #1 fighter?

He can build back his rep with the contenders at 147 like he was supposed to.

I just hope Floyd doesn't hold his head too close to Amir's chin and neck at the weigh-in, so we can see Khan go the distance in the stare-down.

Your right fighting the #1 p4p should be left to the guys that have already built they're career to the top not guys trying to build they're way back to the top..... Smh.

as much i think floyd is just an average puncher , i dont think khan survives a 12 round fight with floyd ...it'll be competitive while it lasts tho ...

                  Waste of money!

Floyd wouldn't fight a guy with no credibility and be allowed to earn $30 m would he...naw!
because no one would be fool enough to pay silly money for a farce ..would they?............I WON'T!

                    I think so.

But this article doesn't show that.

****m is likely just answering a question being asked.

****m will have absolutely no idea on who Mayweather's fighting.
