Oh crap what a war...hard not to have a short memory because it seems like Ruslan is on the ascent and Bam Bam spiraling....but before last fight, plenty ppl saw the issues Ruslan had with periodic lapses in his activity. And since I don't see him being able to handcuff Rios like Pac did, these two will be right in each others faces going off. And in fights like that, Rios is non stop...I think he has a good chance to edge it

IF Garcia Makes This Fight For Rios Against Provo, Garcia Should Be Banned!

First of all, say what you want, but Boxing may have something to say about WHEN Rios fights again, due to failing his drug test against Pacquiao which helped him little. Secondly, Rios wouldn't throw a punch against Manny, so his b/c level skill set were exposed, and if he thinks he has a chance with Provo.... he will really get beat up. Ask Tim Bradley how that worked out fighting Provo, despite judges screwing Provo. Bradley got beaten down to within an inch of his life. Rios is NO WHERE CLOSE to the skill set of Bradley. Alvarado who handled Rios well in their rematch, got taken to school and stopped in his own backyard at elevation in Denver. Please Garcia & Ariza, make this fight happen, so we don't have to hear anymore from Rios. Not sure why this guy warrants another title shot again, when he looked so poorly against Pacquaio. But I'm sure Freddie loves putting another of his fighters in to do a major beatdown of anything Ariza is involved with.

This Is How You Ruin A Fighter

Rios was grossly outclassed against Pacquiao. Now you experts are going to sign up for the cliche "styles make fights"... that is if you are in the same league. Just because Provo comes right after you, doesnt' mean Rios has the skill sets to compete. He doesn't. He's a ****er for b/c level fighters. He was frozen in the ring with Pacquiao. Provo nearly killed Bradley. He ate up and stopped Alvarado. Provo has sparred hundreds of rounds with Pacquiao in the gym; he is the real deal. Rios has no business giving in to a nice payday temptation, to get train wrecked by Provo. Boner got the same treatment with Maidana... their level of competition was dramatically different, and Boner got the shock of his life... Rios needs to go wage war with Alvarado, or Judah, or Devon Alexander or Boner, or Paulie Mags, and see how that turns out. Let me remind everyone... RIOS NEVER BEAT ANYONE CREDIBLE... his only claim to fame is he beat the guy who came back and beat him. This is how you ruin your fighter. Everyone talked about how Rios was a dangerous fight for Pacquiao, how Alvarado's boxing skills would give Provo a lesson. Boxing was wrong on both accounts... You put Rios in with Provo, you get Rios carried out in a bloody heap of mess, then you experts will say, "Oh, Rios needs to take a break from Boxing.... he fought Alvarado, Pacquiao & Provo all back to back to back...." Garcia & Co are going to ruin Rios.

Rios is going to have a very, very short career at this rate. That said, holy **** I want to see this fight.

I heard rios handlers are aware of this, they want to get him as many big pay fights as they can because his style wont hold up after 30 or something like that they seem very aware he could have a short career so goodluck to him may he cash in and out in good health and hopefully make a historic brawl or 2 along the way.

Provodnikov destroys Rios. If this gets made I will seriously worry for Rios's health and future. His speech is on par with James Toneys as it is.

so provodnikov wins and he gets to fight the guy who lost to the guy he just beat. HBO wonders why SHowtime's viewership has increased so much. Whats the point of provod v rios?
