Pacquiao would brutalise him, maybe end his career. He would get money but at what physical cost?

He does want Marquez who isn't interested.

Man dude Pacquaio ain't no killer. He'd fight Provo much like he fought Rios. He'd outbox him sure. But brutalize, GTFOH with that bull****.

Either way, its besides the point. Provo's in the winner's bracket. So no need for him to fight guys in the loser's bracket. And it especially doesn't make any sense when he's not handcuffed by the GBP-TR beef. There are several guys he could fight that would move his career forward. Rios has lost two in a row. One of those was to the guy Provo just "No Mas'd." Its a pointless fight. Other than its can't miss in terms of action and allows Arum to cash out Rios in a fight that will sell reasonably well.

Nah, he aint even a big 140 pounder, Alvarado and Garcia are bigger than him. Ruslan is simply very durable and strong, Alvarado was 9 lbs heavier and Ruslan was walking him down

Rios covered up like Clottey. Provodnikov defends with his face like Margarito and Hatton. He would get messed up.

JMM and Mauricio Herrera disagree. What a ****in' idiot this clown is.

Id like to see him win a fight or two with solid opposition before he gets in all out brawl with someone like Rulsan.
Damn good fight though. But could be a career ending move for Rios if he takes a loss and especially a KO loss!
I find it really funny how packards are so much eager than a beaver to steer the conversation away from prov vs pac. They fear right there what would happen...again.

Rios makes sense, big name fighter.
I don't see Pac wanting to sit in the kitchen anfd risk eating Provo's return fire. He seemed to learn that from getting ICED. He wasn't what Rios did or didn't do. Pac just didn't fight like a dumbass for the first time in forever.

As for what can Provo fight. At 47 you got guys like Porter, Thurman, and Maidana. How good would Chino-Provo be? At 40, you got guys like Garcia and Matthysse. Even coming off a loss, Matthysse is higher on the foodchain than Rios. He's not a TR fighter. Therefore he's not bound by the promotional beef with GBP.

I wouldn't pick Provo to win. But I think he may be relentless enough to force Pac into a firefight. A firefight with a puncher that Pac likely wants no part of at this stage of his career. Which is why Roach and Pac have convinced Provo that they're too good a friends to have a boxing match.
