Tonight's Fight Game with ole Jimmy Lamps

Anybody catch it? They touch on the TR/GB cold war and discuss their candidates for fight of the year, fighter of the year, and trainer of the year.

Okay so basically here's a recap:

On the cold war: They said that there's no end in sight and that 2014 will likely remain the same. Also said that DLH's tweet was meaningless and that TR & GB couldn't agree on a breakfast order let alone a fight of any kind.

Fighter of the year: Tim Bradley

    Fight of the year: Bradley/Ruslan

Trainer of the year: Roach for rebounding from a disastrous 12' by breathing life into his career with the resurrection of Cotto, Pacquiao, and then the coming out party for Ruslan.

Year end P4P top five: Floyd, Ward, Pacquiao, Bradley, and GGG

I'm guessing the P4P top 5 will be ripped harshly here on NSB, as well as possibly Roach as their trainer of the year. For what it's worth Kellerman said that he would have personally had Rigo at #3 P4P.

I don't agree with his trainer of the year. Roach has bounced back but Rios and Rodriguez weren't on Pacquiao and Cotto's level, and he wasn't in Ruslan's corner for Alvarado.

I don't agree with Golovkin being in his PFP top 5 but then people formulate their PFP lists in different ways. I like how he has Pacquiao in and Marquez out, that will upset some.

I agree with Pacquiao being there as well. Maybe not at 3, but 4 or 5. He's still a top 5, pound for pound fighter. It's too early for Golovkin to be in there. Back end of the top 10? Sure. Not top 5 though. Not yet.

Yeah, I wasn't dis*****g Pacquiao, just somewhat amused/bemused at Marquez's exclusion. No surprise Kellerman having Rigondeaux at 3.

Lampley had GGG as fighter of the year. Kellerman said Bradley.

Lampley also said Rigondeaux wasnt exciting enough to be Top 5.....dumbass.

Lol can't take much of what they say too serious nowadays, especially as facts.

Rigo is of course top 5 p4p, maybe not top in a most exciting p4p list (lampley pretty much has a list like this called the "Gatti list")
