I am a fan of Thurman and rate him as the future welterweight king however i couldn't put him top 10 of a p4p list let alone top 5 based off what he done so far.

As impressive as it is with Hopkins being 49 and world champ, recent wins over Murat, Cloud and Shumenov don't cut it for me but everyone is different. If he beats Kovalev then he would be top 10 p4p imo.

We hear Arum saying he wants Floyd-Pac twice in 2015, yet we just found out that Arum and DLH are talking about Pacquiao vs Swift, with results of the Algieri and Maidana II fights not even being in. It reminds me of Margarito saying in an interview, during the pre fight hype of Pac-Clottey, that Arum promised him a fight for November 2011 with Pacquiao. Meanwhile, Arum is making headlines about wanting Floyd-Pac November 2011. But from Margarito's mouth himself, he was already promised a fight for that date.

so because arum says floyd vs pac could be on for 2015 twice that means they're not suppose to talk about any other potential fighters for manny just in case right? LOL!!

So Floyd uses Pac's name to hype his fights huh? Come take a look

Here are the most recent articles pertaining to one side mentioning the other side. As we all know, both Pac and Floyd have fights coming up. It's been claimed that they both use each other's names to promote their fights but that doesn't seem to be the case here. It's only Manny and members of his team/posse bringing up Floyd completely out of the blue. Take a look for yourself.

Pacquiao: I Can Make Mayweather Stand and Fight
WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs) is confident in his ability to make Floyd Mayweather Jr (46-0, 26 KOs), the WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion, stand and fight. Pacquiao, who faces Chris Algieri on November 22nd in Macau, says Mayweather is too defensive of a fighter and moves around too much. The eight division champion would press the action and feels his style and aggression would give Mayweather no choice but to plant himself in one spot to fight.

Pacquiao on Mayweather: He is Worried About His Record
WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) wants to fight his division rival, WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs), in 2015. After years of trying to make a deal, the two sides are not even close to an agreement. Their discussions have not even come close to a serious level since 2010. Pacquiao is willing to let Mayweather get the bigger share of the money and there is finally no issue regarding Mayweather's demand for Olympic style random drug testing.

Mayweather-Ariza Pact is No Threat, Says Roach
Trainer Freddie Roach is not concerned with the possible working relationship between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and strength/conditioning coach Alex Ariza. Roach and Ariza had worked together for several years, specifically with Manny Pacquiao, and had a very ugly breakup in 2013. Ariza was eventually hired by trainer Robert Garcia to work with his fighters.

Roach: If Mayweather Wants To Get KO'd - Fight Manny!
Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is convinced that his star pupil, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs), will score a knockout victory over Floyd Mayweather (46-0, 26KOs), the WBC/WBA champion at welterweight and junior middleweight - if they ever step in the ring. Roach has studied Mayweather's recent performances and believes the undefeated fighter has physically declined.

Roach: Floyd Mayweather's Legs Are Gone, He's All Done!
Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says his fighter would face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a unification at any weight required. Mayweather holds the WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight titles. Pacquiao defends his title against Chris Algieri on November 22nd at the Venetian in Macau, China. Mayweather will face Marcos Maidana in a rematch on September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Roach: Mayweather is a Little Shot, Better For Pacquiao
Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is convinced that WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs) is well past his best. Roach, who trains WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says their chances to win have increased based on Mayweather's claimed decline. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, wants to make the mega-match in 2015. They have been unable to make the fight for the last few years.

Arum Eyes Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, Twice, in 2015
Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum would love to stage not one, but two fights next year between welterweight champions Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. Arum told The San Francisco Chronicle that both networks, HBO and Showtime, are interested in staging the fight early next year. Mayweather has an exclusive multi-fight deal with Showtime and Pacquiao fights under HBO. But Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, believes the fight is big enough where both networks will work together side by side - as they did several years ago for the heavyweight super-fight between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis.

Video: Freddie Roach Takes Jabs at Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Venetian, Las Vegas - Rick Reeno catches up with Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, to discuss the possibility of a 2015 showdown with WBC/WBA champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. - the issues that held the fight back, thoughts on Mayweather's rematch with Marcos Maidana, thoughts on Mayweather's current status as a fighter and more.

Roach: I Fell Asleep During Mayweather-Maidana
Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, believes there is no reason for a rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana. The rematch, being carried by Showtime Pay-Per-View, is scheduled for September 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Maidana exceeded expectations in the first fight, which took place in May, by providing Mayweather with a much tougher challenge than expected. Mayweather won a twelve round majority decision with little to no controversy over the scoring.

Not one peep about Pacquiao from Floyd or members of his team anywhere to be found.
