We've heard Pacquiao's camp claim before they've signed a contract- hopefully it is the case this time. There is support from independent and Mayweather's sources to suggest that it is very close. Im very hopeful we get an announcement in the next couple days.

I'm not trying to argue which boxers punch harder than others. Just passing along what some boxers have said.

From the quotations I've read, all I can ascertain is that Mayweather's punching power is clearly underrated.

What you've forgotten is that Delahoya fought a light weight Pacquiao moving up from 135lbs to 147lbs to fight him.

During that time pac wasn't a full blown welterweight yet, therefore, pac's power during that time cannot be compared to his power now that he is has grown fuller and has settled in at 147.

Pac's power makes fighters either shell up, freeze or run or get ktfo, Now that's power.

Roughly the same, you might give a slight edge to Mayweather but its not significant imo particularly at this stage of his career with all his hand problems, and I think Rios clearly hits harder too.
