Was told with pretty high certainty by an official not to expect a @FloydMayweather announcement of @MannyPacquiao fight this weekend.

Apparently there***39;s still some stuff to knock out on TV front. Not a regular deal, obviously, voluminous contract compared to most.

I am starting to think its more realistic not to expect any kind of announcement until the end of next week....Was told with pretty high certainty by an official not to expect a @FloydMayweather announcement of @MannyPacquiao fight this weekend.

Hilarious. You guys literally throw away reason to make your point. You forget Oscar making Floyd, WHO WAS THE B-SIDE, fight at his weight, with his gloves, in his glove size(Which Floyd had NEVER fought in) in his ring of choice?Exactly this. No other world champion has ever made the kinds of demands or accusations that Floyd has. Could you imagine Floyd trying to last 12 rounds against the likes of Duran, SRL, or Hearns? He's not a lion like most think. He's a bully who likes to know the outcome of his fights before the bell rings. With Manny, he's not so confident.[/SIZE]Comment

@ChrisMannixSI: Hearing optimism from both sides that a Mayweather-Pacquiao deal could get done soon. From what I'm hearing, hard to see it falling apart.Comment
