I dont know why people think these guys can make their own decisions. Manny and Floyd and BOTH bent over the ****in desk getting ****ed over by Arum/Haymon. If this fight happens, it'll be when Arum and Haymon negotiate through their differences.
Manny can say he wants to fight whoever but at the end of the day, his promoter Arum will decide and he will fight him. Pacquaio career decisions and the things he says all make sense if you assume that daddy Arum is the deciding factor.
Floyd can also say as much as he wants that he is his own boss and he does what he wants, but the fact is Haymon is his "advisor" and maybe Floyd gets some extra perks on his Haymon contract compared to a random Haymon fighter, but at the end of the day, Haymon is a smart dude and hes got Mayweather on lock. Everything Mayweather did or said also makes sense if you assume that daddy Haymon is the deciding factor. Of course he is going to sound hypocritical at times because he wants something, Haymon says no, so he has to say something else so that it looks like its his decision.
