Yeah but Mayweather in 2007 is not the same as Mayweather in 2014 (When the fight would happen).

A whole 7 years will have gone by. Things happen and Mayweather won't be 30 years old and in his peak he'll be 37 and well beyond his best.

You can see just looking at the way he throws his punches and certain movements, angles etc that he's definitely improved in his last 4 fights.

Which someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's the exact time he got with Garcia. Straight after the Alexander fight was when I think he hired Garcia. One of the Maidana fans could confirm this I'm sure.

He may not be a brand new fighter but in my eyes it's very clear that's he's made gradual improvements in certain areas of his game.

You're correct. He went with Garcia after the Alexander fight because he looked so bad and was strongly considering retiring. He talked about it on the first episode of All-Access: Broner-Maidana IIRC.

So if this is the case it doesnt take a genius to work out he will fight Floyd in Sept, ..keeping up with tradition, Maidana has more of a chance to bring the Mexican fans than Khan does

That's perhaps true (Arguable) but the fact is he's not where near as good as he was in 2007 so I don't think that's a good argument.

He might fight more defensively (Again arguable, look at the Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto fights) but his reflexes, speed, timing, footwork are all much much slower. Point being, it's a tough comparison to make considering.

I think Mayweather-Garcia is likely for September (Should Mayweather win in May and Garcia win in March)

Dana shocked alot of ppl but ab is nowhere near floyd in any asspect of boxing so to think dana has a shot to land those same shots on floyd for 12 rounds is just crazy im with sr it would be an easy fight as easy as khan but id like to see him beat dana over khan either way easy nights.

This is the same Maidana who was totally outclassed by Devon,

No its not. Maidana had no game plan for that fight, poor conditioning. Pawed with the jab. He landed eight f'in jabs in the whole Devon fight. And they were NOT authoritative. Maidana has himself admitted he was not inspired for that fight. I know you are hopelessly biased, but surely you at least saw the difference between how he passively let Devon clinch him over 100 times and was a wild damn bull in the clinch with Broner. Maidana was caught sleeping in the Devon fight.

I say Floyd should fight maidana given he will make more money and IMO maidana's style will work for Floyd
