this is the guy that looked tired in his first fight at 130 by the 4th round vs morales and took bomb after bomb for 12 rounds and hurt morales in the last round, dont think he's too discourageable, but he will take it easy here and there if he knows he's winning

rigo hitting him as hard as he hits will just light a fire under pacquiao's ass
nvm that pacquiao almost always does what his corner asks of him
Sure was in bad shape against Bradley. Showed me he's not the same fighter.

He may have been woken up against Marquez, a prelude to his brutal destruction. Pacman was a top pfp fighter 4 years ago. But right now he's fallen too much and Rigo has been too dominant for me being able to see Pacman being a better fighter pfp.

One cannot simply live on what Pacman did 5 years ago today. Fighters age, other fighters rise.

Which is why I tried to tell mister 4 corners over their that a resume can establish career greatness, but has little weight in reality to a current pfp standing. Pacman has no business in the top 5 on any pfp list if you take into account his resume in recent years.

So you dismiss the weight jump in rigo's favor then say PAC has looked like crap. When he is clearly not fighting at a comfortable weight. Everybody he is fighting is bigger than him. No excuses for PAC because this is what he chose. But Can we say the same about Rigo? Rigo won't even leave the comfort zone of 122. Greatness is not measured by talent alone. It is also defined by the ability to beat the odds. So far Rigo has done everything he was supposed to do at his weight class. That's it.

In the old days P4P was something of myth. Fantasy match ups. A lot of today's fighters actually jump up in weight to prove they are P4P better. Not really sure if popularity is a factor in today's P4P rankings but they Definitely put people in there who are
Not quite proven but have the potential to be P4P ie broner, canelo.

I think bradley would give Rigo hell! Also I think TR/HBO are hoping to cash Rigo in for lomenchenko...

The mythical definition of pfp, is simple. Which fighter would win if the fighters in question were the same size.

For example: If Ward and Rigo weight the same, who'd win?

If Pacman and Wlad were the same size, who'd win. And so on.

Ok cool. I agree with this also as an old way of determining P4P. But a lot of today's fighters prove they are P4P fighters by jumping up or down in class. It's not just mythical anymore. Now obviously fighters can only go up so much so there is still use for your definition of P4P. But c'mon man if Rigo is so much a P4P superstar make a jump and prove it. I think he could pull it off. I also have Rigo in my P4P list. I just don't think he has proved greatness yet in the pro's. What's he gonna do stay 122 forever? I'm just arguing for the sake of argument cause I think there is much more to be desired from Rigo.
Question: was Chris john in your P4P list?

Rigo beats Ward and all others not named Mayweather.

Even Mayweather-Rigo is a close call.
