I think Naz is trying to downplay Broner's defeat here, he probably knows all these boxers for over 15-20 years, so he is trying to be politically correct whilst paying homage to Maidana. At the end of the day I prefer people who don't sugar-coat things. What Roger Mayweather said I agree with (Heard he got his a*s kicked) because that's exactly what happen. Now Broner did finish the fight but he wouldn't have done so if the referee had listen to his appeal in regards to the headbutt.

As for AB trying to quit. When exactly did he do that? When he milked a foul to recover from being hurt by a punch. Blame the dumb mutha****a that fouled him and gave him an opportunity to milk it.

As for no character. Both fighters showed tremendous character. That was a grueling fight for both. And on AB's end. I had Maidana winning 8-11. AB was rocked bad in the 11th. And midway through after he recovered and Chino had gotten winded came back and worked Maidana. And in the 12th, needing a KO, AB went for it and was working the **** outta Chino. And had Chino not landed a huge left hook withoth about a minute left that stunned AB% and slowed his attack. And even then, in wet noodle legs, Ab still pressed forward and tried to win.

So please. Chinco clearly won and more power to him. But let's not pretend that he steamrolled AB and AB was looking for a way outta there. That was a helluva fight in which both guys showed a lotta heart.
real talk, broner did what he could, he was there til the final bell and took chinos best shots haters gon hate and broner brought It upon himself but truth is maidanan couldn't finish him and a rematch will happen down the road

Maidana is 'special' now. A week ago he was a face-first brawler and a club fighter that Broner was going to wipe the floor with

Brother Naazim is wrong on this one... Everything has consequences and when you act like an ****** you are going to be treated as such... Naazim is hinting that Broner should be treated with respect even thoughhe has shown none to the sport or his opponents... Dry Humping another man in the ring... If Naazim says we should understand Broner's sick over the top behavior as a marketing tool, than Naazim should understand that the criticism is gonna be over the top...

He needed to lose....Now let's see if he learns from this loss and grows into a better fighter/better person.
