What matters is whether it can do numbers. A lot of people are screaming that they aren't buying Khan vs Floyd and he and GBP better pay attention. Send Oscar with another briefcase of cash to sign Manny away from TR again, especially in wake of his tax issues. Ps imo the Broner wouldve struggle with the upper brass at 140 just as he has at 147. & I don't even think Chico and Paulie are top 5 ww but just like ponce de leon the came to fight not to be cannon fodder or a spring board for Broner. Floyd is telling him correctly whe he advises he to try to refonnect with the fans. I don't kno that he ever had much of a connection in the first place. Lastly I would love to see Broner and Berto go at it. I would definately take Berto in that one. But it would likely make a helluva scrap. I kno Berto has to have read or heard that people are using his name as an intended insult to Broner. That would motivate the hell outta me.
A real opponent like who, Maidana, who Khan beat.

you dont think he can move his career forward if he actually put the time and effort to be great, beat and get revenge on maidana?

Maidana is a solid champion who has been in the ring with name fighters. getting better and getting revenge on a guy who anally ****d him would move his career i bet.

lol, broner is fighting a stiff. broner is hopeful cash cow for GBP, they can't let him get khan'd and lose all credibility.
I'm confused. What's wrong with AB fighting Peterson next? I mean, if the Fight of the Decade (hahahaha) Manny Pacquaio can fight Rios coming off a loss. Why can't a bum like Broner comeback from an L against Peterson?

Hes fine at welter. He just needs to get his fundamentals down. He has more power than people are giving him credit for. Maidana even said he rocked him. The man just needs to focus and spend more time in the gym and less time making amateur p o r n o s.

****s??? I think you're very much overestimating Chino's performance. But whatever. You can label it however you want.

Either way, Broner isn't a welterweight. So why proceed as a welter when he has other options. He'll always be able to re-visit Maidana. Fact, AB is currently the best lightweight in boxing and no worse that the 4th best jr welterweight, ifhe can't make 35. So what point does it serv going through hell to avenge a loss, to become made the 9th best welterweight when you have other options. He's not like an Andre Berto who was a solid welterweight and didn't have any chice but to sink or swim there.
