Yes, he's fine at 47. But why fight there if he doesn't have to? The days of being "the next Floyd" or the "next P4P star" or the "next PPV star" are over for now. Really, why? If he could still make 35. He could unify belts down there and do a big fight with Gamboa. If he can't, you still have the likes of Garcia (although he's likely moving up), Provodnikov, Matthysse, and Peterson at 40. Those are interesting fights. And Matthysse can crack, which generates interest because AB's beard is now suspect. And Provo is just a bull that will likely overpower AB, and present many of the same problems Chino did.

156lbs on fight night against Maidana, he's a full blown WW. That was what Ortiz weighed in his last fight at 140 when he had to move up. Unless he does some serious dieting without hurting himself, he has to stay at 147 or he'll turn into another Joan Guzman.
