Yeah, it blows, but I'm confident Rigo will find his way. When you think about it, despite all this talk of "boring," "no fanbase," "etc., Guillermo drums up some noise. He's only got 13 pro fights under him. He'll continue to beat everyone he faces. As time goes on, he'll become harder to suppress.

Arum is basically wasting Rigondeaux away until his contract is up. He was disgusted at him beating Donaire and he happily reiterated what HBO was saying about Rigo. You could tell in Arum's voice that he was in agreement of HBO's opinion on Rigondeaux after the Donaire fight. Arum just wants out of Rigondeaux.

Arum won't have to hold his nose for long. There's just one more fight left on Rigo's contract, then ol' Bob better never let his name pass through his lips ever again.

There's an easy way to remedy this, put him on the under-card instead of the main event. Agbeko got the fight taken out of him so quickly, at least give someone who's hungry a chance. Styles wise, Kiko/Rigo could be entertaining, that would be a good opponent to end his TR contract with.

I blame Arum. He purposely made Rigondeaux vs Agbeko so that it can be an ugly fight and put fans away.

Meanwhile, he happily gets Montiel, Arce, WV Jr for Donaire so he can look good. We saw how Donaire looked like against Narvaez.

Get Rigondeaux the same come forward attackers and watch him have to raise his work rate and in turn, make for a more watchable fight. No way in hell Arum and TR matchmakers looked at Rigondeaux vs Agbeko and thought of it as a fire fight. This was deliberately done to turn HBO and fans away from Rigondeaux IMO, and I would go as far as to say it is clear as day what Arum did.

In fact, Narvaez putting up the type of fight he did against Donaire was a TON more foreseeable than what Agbeko did. Did Arum purposely match Donaire up that way because he hates Donaire?
