How did he become Floyd's mandatory when he won the WBO belt for beating Margario. When did ABC groups start ranking champions from other ABC groups?

Ranking systems in 2007 weren't what they are now..it was about streaks in the division versus which body you were fighting in..now adays it's who your promoter is..hell they made khan ranked #1 or #2 at 147 lol. Up until recently it was simply about how many consecutive wins you've had against top ten fighters from your division. Case and point they just made Pacquaio a mandatory for fighting rios.

You know, you post a lot of dumb **** on this site. I'm certain after you type your little posts, you lean back, re-read and genuinely feel that you've just offered up some real insight to the world, but you really haven't. You can go around in circles trying to explain away something very basic, but you're not fooling anyone. There is a fight out there that will make two fighters more money than has ever been earned by two athletes in the history of the earth. One side of this equation has created EVERY roadblock to making this fight happen. I don't particularly care who wins this fight, so I'm neither a 'fanboy' nor a 'hater' of either fighter, but, as a fight fan, I do (did) want to see the damn fight happen. NO sane and objective person at this point in the proceedings can say that Manny Pacquiao's side is to blame for this fight not happening. Only true fan boys such as yourself buy the bull**** excuses every time they're invented.

I'm a be honest. I don't really even pay much attention to the ABC rankings. So you could be totally correct. But its a new one on me that the WBC had the WBO champ as their mandatory.

Na, I would say its a tie between that guy saying Floyd retired in 2008 to avoid Manny or that Taco mu****a reading me the riot act about how Manny's side has no blame and how he's all unbiased and all.

Ok cool, my bad must've misread. I do think Paul though was a problem in his peak until Quintana made him look human tho.

I liked Paul but i was never sold on him. I always felt Cotto could beat him, i thought Sergio won the first fight. and in all honesty i think Floyd would have beaten him. however Pauls reach would have caused issues for Floyd. you know though that in order to beat Floyd you need a solid jab which Paul did not have, neither did Margaritto or Mosley. A solid jab, and a well timed jab is difficult for Floyd to deal with. which is why he had a hard time with Cotto ( who has knocked guys down with his jab) and DLH who was winning with a jab then stop jabbing and starting punching like he was swinging a purse. Some say he was gassed, others say Floyd got his timing down, depends who you ask. This is why I feel Pac would lose, he has no jab, and when he does throw it he lunges in, its low and lazy which contributed to his knock out against Marquez. No matter what anybody says about Floyd, he has one of the best check hooks in the game,piston like, if he times Pac lunging in the fight could be over, think Hatton.
