    So what has changed now?
In 2009 Floyd's team sent a contract to Pac that included a 50-50 PPV split and random testing. If Pac had signed it we would have had a fight.
First it was the testing, then he refused to give Pac any PPV money (but it was ok giving Cotto a split of the PPV pie).
To me it seems Floyd is tired of getting asked about a fight he never intended to take so he is closing the door permanently by saying he will never deal with Arum again, knowing Manny will be with TR until he is done.

If anything Pacquiao should be looking into how he can get away from Bob Arum so he can make that fight, not only that but he would also be able to keep most of that money for HIMSELF and not have to worry about Arum sucking away most of it

Staying with Arum has done nothing but put him in serious Tax Troubles
      Quoted for truth!

lol floyd doesnt want to fight pacquaio.. it has nothing to do with arum.. he was willing to fight pacquaio a few years ago and testing and money split were the only conditions... now arum is the reason why floyd doesnt want to fight..

        i dont understand that dude..

You have hit the nail on the head

I sometimes wish boxing was like UFC where the best fight the best instead of this circus shiz we are stuck with week after week

It's ok Floyd you can retire with your 0 but the fans will never know for sure if you were the best of this era

Keep it 100%. Cotto didn't make anywhere near $40 million for his fight with Floyd.

If you don't know the answer to that, either you have been living under a rock, or you're not too bright. Take your pick.

What is so hard to understand that circumstances change with time? Floyd had financial issues around that time and Pacquiao was on an absolute tear and was boxing's biggest media darling(At the time). He wasn't in a position to demand more than 50-50 without it coming off like a complete duck

4-5 years later Mayweather has his Showtime deal, Pacquiao has lost twice, has posted pedestrian PPV #'s in recent fights and now has tax issues and allegations that yet another fighter has fell victim to a greedy promoter's fraud. Why exactly would the Terms & Conditions for the fight stay the same knowing all of this?

They have run out of ideas for roadblocks. They had a good run with the first roadblocks. Now they are expecting this new roadblock to hold out until they are definitely sure that Manny has lost another step or two so that Manny becomes a relatively low risk fight.

Bull****! You're just a little coward hiding behind Arum's stinky ass. Grow a pair, Floyd. Stop the excuses. Represent the courage of young, african americans, and all americans around the world. If you're the best, fight Pacquiao.

If he does not fight Pac, I am calling on all boxing fans to whether you are a fan or not of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to boycott all his fights until he gives us the fight we've all been asking for since 2009! If he wants his money. He has to deserve it, and that is by giving boxing the only fight that matters. I would do the same if the roles were reversed and Manny is holding up the fight. I would gladly boycott Pac's remaining fights if he were clearly avoiding Mayweather despite Mayweather acquiescing to all his demands.
