Frankly he could've just said this shhh 4 years ago and we would've moved on by now.
Some of you guys lack any common sense. You dont think the years of failed negotiations and getting ****ed around by Arum had an impact on Mayweather's decision to just not work with him entirely. Yes, he tried in the past but it was to no avail. Why keep trying when you know it wont go anywhere?

You know what's funny is Floyd has had two windows of opportunity if he wanted this fight when the entire world knew Pacquaio's contract was about to be up, why not make the offer then? Why wait til he signs an extension?
He did say it homie. In the first Brian Kenny interview before he even fought JMM.

Without looking it up, I believe Pac fought JMM to a controversal draw in their second fight, for the 130 title, in like ,ar 2008. Pac turned around and fought a bum named David Diaz a couple months later for a 135 trinket. And then, late that year, jumped to 47 to fight DLH. So when Floyd supposedly retired to duck Pac, Pac was getting his ass beat at 130 by JMM or jumping to 135 to fight a bum. WOW!!! I don't even think the boys I been arguing with aregonna back you on this one homie. At least they were watching boxing back then, which you clearly weren't. You my friend are a CERTIFIED DUMBASS.
He knew Pac was on rise and coming for him ! He's ducking and you have more excuse for Floyd then Floyd

Funny you say lack of common sense...wasn't Pacquaio's contract up after the Margarito fight? Yup...so why not say hold on..before you sign that contract let's fight and we negotiate directly...this has happened twice.. Pacquaio staring down the end of his contact with top rank...the first one being 4!!!! year ago!!! when this fight was first considered. Floyd never had to deal with Arum if he didn't want to...but we lack the common sense? Again read clearly and carefully..Pacquaio was virtually a free agent twice since the public started clamoring for it..so if Floyd didn't want arum involved why didn't he call Pacquaio then and instead waited until the entire world knew he was locked into Top Rank?

Pacquaio has since signed two extensions which means he could've opted out if he had been approached to hold out for one fight and then sign his extension but that never happened..that's my point..the window to get arum out of the way entirely has been there twice.

Floyd needs to grow a set. His statement "Floyd sets Floyd's dates....Arum sets Pacquiao's dates", means nothing. Mayweather doesn't have a problem fighting others who's promoters set their fighters dates. Just typical Floyd ducking. He did it with Cotto & Mosley for over 10 years. Typical weasel.
Yeah yeah he ducked Mosley for 10yrs when its more than documented that Mosley would barely even acknowledge Floyd's existance when he was the man at 35 and Floyd was a pup starting to make noise at 30. And then on live television after the Vargs fight when asked about fighing Floyd claimed he had a headache and Floyd needed to fight Margairto. But naw naw, Floyd ducked him for 10yrs.

He knew Pac was coming for him when he was getting his ass kicked at 130lbs by JMM. Dude STFU and go get on boxrec or something. At least make your argument make chronological sense. Because right now, everyone here that was watching boxing in 200x knows you're a f.uckin' idiot.

All the negotiations failing is because Mayweather never ever wanted the fight since he hates bob arum... He wanted to waste time
