People give Froch stick for his delusional comments after the fight(me included, his ego is out of control sometimes but then again who wouldn't have such a massive ego after such a good showing in his last 11 world title fights?) but what about Groves? I have not heard Groves admit how much trouble he was really in when Froch put the pressure on in that ninth round and so many people are letting him off the hook despite this. He is acting as if he wasn't in trouble at all which is total bull**** plus Froch would have continued that onslaught for the remaining three and a half rounds at a time when Groves's punches lost the snap/power that they had in the earlier rounds.
Personally I don't want Froch to fight Groves because I don't want him to give him a meal ticket which is essentially what it's all about. If Groves admits how much trouble he was in and that it was looking more likely that he was just about to get KTFO before the ref saved his career then yes I would like to see a rematch with a more humble Groves.....until then? Get to the back of the line where you belong.

people are giving froch credit for this fight? that's ****ed up.

that stoppage isn't even debatable, the ref clearly protected froch from losing. ref should be suspended indefinitely, and the fight should be classified as a no contest. **** boxing.

Ah, so you didn't see Groves's legs turn to jelly? You didn't see the thunderous shots Froch was landing in rounds 8 & 9? You didn't see Groves clinching almost incessantly in rounds 8 and (in particular) 9?

My advice, watch the fight without the one-sided Sky commentary.

If you're including Abregu, include Reid and Groves?

Froch prides himself on being one of the best fighters Britain ever had. The fact is he got knocked down and almost knocked out in the first round, and then got out-boxed and out-gunned for the vast majority of the fight. All this against a guy who was a huge underdog. Whether you agree with the stoppage or not, it was indisputably controversial. Froch, who was cheered into the ring initially, was booed out of it by the end of the fight.

If you read between the lines you will realise this rematch has little to do with Groves as much as it has to do with the fans, and Froch himself. Groves, after all, has a bright future regardless and has gone up in stock massively. It is Froch who is now being questioned everywhere. And it's Froch who needs to cement his legacy by leaving no questions unanswered.

After all, he does claim to be the best fighter Britain ever had alongside Lennox Lewis.
Will you give him credit if he takes the rematch and beats Groves (again)?

one doesn't need any schooling to know that carl froch does not have the best resume in boxing.

he lost to the two best fighters he fought.

i wish his team had your confidence. who knows what other fight they're looking at, but it's not a groves rematch by the look of things.

As I said before, Froch is one of the biggest Jokes of 2013, he was being hit with every punch possible, knocked down, behind on all score cards, and still winning d2 incompetent referee !

and never said " Sorry " ! but " it is not my fault " with a smiling face :/

Actually, I included Abregu because I included Dirrell for Froch. A fight which many people thought he won.

What else does Froch have lined up?
                      Did Kessler retire?
