It doesn't matter who trains him, he parties too much and has become a wasted talent because of his character. Only Broner can change himself, but most likely he never will or will when its too late. Just another Anthony Hembrick, a fighter I remember from years ago. There have been several Hembrick types along the way and Broner is the most famous of them all.

The thing with the Mayweather Sr, is that he's too arrogant to be a trainer. He wants everyone to fight like him and not to their strength. I think for trainer/fighter relationship to work there has to be mutual trust-like the trainer trusting the fighter when he feels something is not his strength and the fighter to trust and believe in whatever he's taught.

To me, senior believes anyone he hasn't trained is not a good fighter, and i have never seen him raised a young fighter ( not named jr) to be a world champion. He needs to understand that not everyone is going to master the shoulder roll and, that won't be everyone's style. I remember cringing every time Oscar used to do it. A good trainer amplifies a fighter's qualities and strengths, and minimizes weaknesses. Senior tries to change you to become him or Mayweather Jr.

it does say in the article sr said if the trainer does not want a fighter to do the shoulder roll it shouldnt be dont. in broners corner he tells the trainer what he wants to do and sr is saying thats not right. how can you disagree?

hembrick never held a title. and how do you justify calling broner a wasted fighter? he just lost the first fight of his career so you call him a wasted talent? thats so far off base. so what do you call pac, or jmm?

My guess is Stafford is scared ****less right now that Broner's gonna bail on him. And I wouldn't be surprised if he did. What's the best way for a young trainer to deflect blame from himself after he loses? Get rid of the trainer. Happens all the time.

Wasn't Broner at one point (I think after the KD in the 2nd) telling his corner to calm down? They had every right to be concerned and worried. Sr is right, Broner didn't respect his corner and they didn't take initiative. Staffard is a garbage ass trainer.
