In the heart of hearts, Marquez refuses to give Pacquiao one rematch, after Pac gave him 4 fights. JMM knows his Hail Mary KO was a fluke, he knows he can't train any harder for a fight than he did in the last Pacquiao fight, and that being said, he was behind on al scorecards, was just knocked down, and all out of gas when he landed his lottery ticket one punch. He knows he can't do any better than that, and Pacquiao stops him in another fight. Bradley isn't giving JMM an immediate rematch, when he clearly won the first fight, and a Pacquaio rematch makes Bradley DOUBLE the money, that he'd get for a Marquez rematch. Nobody really is asking for that fight except Marquez, which tells you little interest in that option. And if Provo is Marquez' only other option, that makes for a career ending night for JMM. Everyone likes to draw this up on paper, and talk about the great counter boxer Marquez is, what a lesson he'd give. What you don't see on paper, is Provo is too young, too hungry, too relentless, too strong, and imposes his will on his opponent like nobody else in Boxing. Marquez at 40 years old could never keep Provo off him, and would get severely the beatdown of his career, ending everything; Marquez would not finish that fight vertical. I'd say Marquez should go fight Erik Morales who he ducked an entire career.

one of the all time Mexican greats. Needs to retire tho. Should've walked away from the game after he KO'd Pac. He loses to a prime Bradley and it showed that his legs are gone. No need to be like B-Hop fighting second rate fighters just to say "look I'm old and still can do it."Comment

salvador sanchez will always be a question mark so you cant really put him there.
chavez is the only guy thats clearly ahead.
barrera and morales dont have the longevity or the skills that marquez had
jmm wasnt ever beaten down or ko-ed like those two
and he was ducked for the majority of his primeComment

I'm going to find it hilarious when Bradley-Marquez II is announced after so many idiots on here were laughing at Marquez and saying he'd never get the rematch. A lot of Mexican and Latin sports networks are rumoring negotiations to being close to done. This wasn't Marquez-Mayweather, the Bradley fight was actually close (7-5) and JMM was starting to figure out Bradley in the final rounds. I have no doubt that Marquez would defeat Bradley when they finalize the second bout.
Suck on that haters!Comment
