Comments Thread For: Juan Manuel Marquez Getting Closer To Next Opponent

The future of Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) should become clearer by Chistmas Day. On Thursday and Friday, Marquez will be meeting with the president of the World Boxing Organization, Francisco 'Paco' Valcárcel, who will be visiting Mexico.

Marquez would like a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs), who won a split decision over the Mexican veteran in October.

Damn Marquez i told you retire after destroying Pacman, i also told you "you wouldnt beat Bradley"

Bradley rematch would be the same, so a fight Provo would be the best choice

it shouldn't be bradley at all, he doesn't deserve a rematch after the way he whined. It should be ruslan

Bradley would box his ass up, again.

Go fight Provodnikov, and leave Bradley for Pac.

                    Ok

Marquez will only fight at 147, he wants a belt at that weight to make history and become the greatest Mexican boxer. I think if he gets the belt he should be considered the best Mexican boxer ever.
