Can't stand how lackadaisical Stiverne is in the ring, but he is a talented HW/Counter puncher. I'm hoping Arreolla pulls it out. Can't like Stiverne for that reason.

I'm changing my answer from two months ago. I am now picking Stiverne. Arreola is just tailor-made for Stiverne now that I think about it. Arreola comes in reckless at times and Stiverne knows how to capitalize on that mistake. It should be one heck of a fight but Stiverne seems to have a good chin and I think he can weather any storm from Arreola. Stiverne should be able to cruise to a comfortable decision and he has show that he is capable of hurting Arreola so I won't be surprised if he knocks him down once or twice in the fight.

Gotta go with Stiverne here, he is pretty evasive for a big guy and his chin seems decent. I'll take Stiverne on points.

This rematch is very difficult to predict. Arreola went nine rounds with a broken nose and he never really recovered after he suffered the big knock down in round 3 that pretty much killed his stamina. He looked like a zombie after the third round. I expect a slimmer and more in shape Arreola but I also expect an improved Stieverne. He's already beaten Arreola once and knows he can do it again. He'll enter the ring even more confident this time. This should be a very good, tough action-packed fight you don't want to miss.
I can't decide who I think will win on Saturday....I see this as a 50/50 fight. May the best man win.

Arreola in shape is being overblown! Chris Arreola has never been in good shape, not even remotely.
His weight had nothing to do with the first fight, that is his usual fighting shape.
He gassed because Stiverne smashed his nose all over his face & crippled him with bodyshots. He got beaten by skills, by the superior boxer
Arreola didn't engage as much because he was hesitant of Stivernes power & getting blinded by a jab & hit with monster shots to head and body.
Okay lets say he comes in lighter, what is he going to do differently? What can he do differently? He only knows one way & we seen it in the first fight and have seen it in all 40 or whatever of his pro fights.
He is going to waddle forward like a penguin eating jabs & big right hands to the body just like the first time. He can't adjust & frankly Stiverne doesn't need to change anything.
I am glad Arreola is in shape by his standards (only 10years too late) as his weight excuses are pathetic and disrespectful to the guys who have beat him. I don't want to hear no weight excuses or he overtrained or anything when Bermane lights his ass up, again.
Stiverne takes this.

that said, who won the last fight and why? stiverne, and it was because he landed the more effective blows and took arreola's gas when it landed.
if arreola is truely in shape i pick him to win. he's not truely in shape. he's still overweight. he's working harder, probably eating better, but he's still overweight.
tough fight to call. i'm excited to see it, though. the first was a good fight in spite of arreola being 250 lbs. he should be 225 lbs at the most.
gonna vote for tough to call, which is lame.
I've heard the same opinions for years on Boxingscene - Solis, Rahman, Arreola, every fighter inbetween not named Klitschko and even Mike Tyson when he was still fighting.
The truth is, if Arreola lost 25lbs in this training camp he'd probably be drained and weakened and far from optimal fighting shape. When was Chris Arreola last 225lbs? You have to go back to 2006 when he fought Damian Wills, he was 229.
