Who risks putting a 13 fight novice in with a fighter who has such an extensive pedigree?

Hello fellows....Kids falling behind, showing way to much respect! He must have gotten hit with something that's discouraged him early.
His tenth fight he fought a guy 0-19 WHY? Unless it was a last minute fill in why would this kid who has talent be in easy?
