The guy was trying to survive! Floyd at the weight he is at, isn't a heavy puncher! When a guy is standing there not fighting it's hard to connect and put the guy in trouble! What happened to Donaire when he opened up and fought?

It's nobody's fault. I don't want his fans to come at me like hyenas. But praising Rigo so much and hyping him and then saying he couldn't have done more is hypocrisy.

Agbeko wasn't throwing. And Rigo was loving it.
Like I said, and I'm speaking from an Agbeko's fan point of view. He was the challenger and he had to press the fight, we all know Rigondeaux style.

Rigo did try more he was more offensive this time around, however you can't blame Rigo for not getting careless because Agbeko packs a punch too and he has good speed. The fact is that Agbeko felt the punches early and didn't want to feel them no more. He knew he was defeated and fought like a defeated fighter and that was really disappointing from a guy who I admire for his guts.

rigondeaux is going to keep winning and people will have to aknowledge him sooner or later, he's one of the most (if not THE most) talented boxer right now.
Very classy post just like Agbeko's post fight interviews who pretty much said the same thing. Rigo is a hard puzzle and is not as easy as people think to go all out on a guy like that. Agbeko showed us Rigo's power is underrated, but that serves to his advantage because when fighters get in the ring with him and get hit you can almost see the "oh ****!" expression on their face and looks of discouragement when they go back to their corner.

A lot of the people critizing Rigo are butthurt Donaire fans. Even when Donaire tried to go all out and he caught a straight left to his eye and began to run. Rigondeaux was doing major damage in the last round, had Donaire been less carefull earlier I have no doubt Rigondeaux would've stopped him.

In the tenth or eleventh round, Nonito ran out towards Rigo at the start. He was promptly met by a nice, stiff shot that literally stopped him in his tracks. It was actually comical. I agree; Donaire might not have seen the final bell if he had been more aggressive. "El Chacal" is dangerous when provoked, but he's usually content to box if his opponent is shy.

Rigo hates being the last to be hit.

Sounds funny, but it's true, Ruben. I've noticed that tendency as well.

In rounds 4 and 5, Rigo really put it on Agbeko and those rounds took any hope of an upset from him. It looked like Agbeko just came to cash a HBO paycheck to me and go the distance with the champ.
