lol, now he was matched up with an aggressive fighter, he still manages to make it boring, lets face it, he's just barely making an effort to win and not entertain. Now dont complain that your not getting paid when your not making an effort to get paid.

rigondeaux is going to keep winning and people will have to aknowledge him sooner or later, he's one of the most (if not THE most) talented boxer right now.
Lampley at the end of the fight: Agbeko does largely nothing for 12 rounds , Rigondeaux puts him in the position of doing largely nothing...

It's nobody's fault. I don't want his fans to come at me like hyenas. But praising Rigo so much and hyping him and then saying he couldn't have done more is hypocrisy.

Agbeko wasn't throwing. And Rigo was loving it.

If Agbeko was making it boring than Rigo was guilty of conspiracy he could of stood hands behind his back, eyes closed and Agbeko wouldn't of thrown a punch.. maybe stretching just a little but there was no interest in anything other than complying with score a point or two kill the clock next round.

I am one of those that believe Rigo will improve offensively with just a little work. He doesn't need that much. He has so much talent that I don't think it will take much.

I don't like the comparisons of Ward and Floyd because as I already posted , Floyd and Ward know how to turn it up a notch. For example , Dawson for Ward.

Arum is probably the one most interested in making Rigo a star and use his talents to make millions.

          Rigo will get there.
I've never been one to buy into conspiracies very easily, and I don't believe there's one here, but boxing honchos have been known to get petty to the point of willfully hurting business. What's at the heart of the Top Rank-Golden Boy feud? Some big egos, nothing more. If their egos can stand in the way of one thing, they can stand in the way of others.

Bro , the way these promoters work sometimes disgusts me. They do hurt boxing. But in this case it's very hard for me to believe it. Arum is an egomaniac , greedy prick. But it hurts him as much to want to sabotage Rigo and the potentially great career he can have.

You and me have gone back and forth over this. I believe Rigo is going to work on his offense and he won't need to change his style. He will just be adding a new element to his game. And I think we will see it soon.

Arum ****s on Rigondeaux because he of his contract. His contract has a minimum purse of I think $500K which makes Rigo too expensive to put on undercards. Rigo refused $350K to fight in Macau because it was below his contract minimum. Arum wasn't happy about his.

HBO doesn't want to show him because he's expensive given the amount of ratings he gets. Plus Caribe and Top Rank have battled in court before. Arum sabotaging his career has to do with trying to get Rigo and his team to soften up on their demands and back off. They're criticizing his "style" and "fanbase" when its really a lot of other stuff going on behind the scenes.

Rigo will fit better with GBP. Squeeze him in on one of those stacked undercards or let him carry a small weekday card on his own.

that's the big difference right there, they both are a bit more aggressive and if Floyd had a fighter in front of him not doing anything he wouldn't just stand there and do nothing,i mean 17% connect rate is very bad against a guy who threw nothing at you....but like this trainer says, everyone has their own tastes,in music, food, clothing and in fighters,so he shouldn't be upset that people left the arena or just don't care much for rigo because he just said everyone has their own taste,so he really can't complain,..thats just the way he wants to fight and keep on winning, which is fine, just don't complain when people don't want to watch or tv don't want him

                      clueless?

I think as the years go by, the boxing fan becomes dumber and dumber! Rigondeaux put on a clinic in his last two fights, yet we have morons who complain about a guy winning nearly every round?! Did you watch Maidana vs. Broner?? If Maidana fought at the weight of Rigondeaux, he would get his head handed to him! Why do you think Abgeko was not running in throwing volumes of punches? Because he took a bomb early, the same thing as Donaire! You guys don't understand little things that separate great fighters from ordinary fighters! Rigondeaux balance and ring generalship is second to none and i have watched boxing for over 35 years!
