They booed Rigo/Agbeko in the same way they booed Mayweather/Baldimir and Ward/Rodriguez. All cases in which these technical fighters had extremely weak opposition in front of them and they still played it safe.

That's what's frustrating to the fans. It would be like watching Usain Bolt jog a whole race to the finish line because he would win anyway. Its unsatisfying.

I'm not saying Rigo should fight only undefeated fighters. But Donaire is generally seen as his main rival (rightly or not), and fighting opponents your main rival already beat is not that good a look.

That's not to say I would have absolutely no interest in, say, Rigo vs Mathebula, but there are better fights out there for Rigo.

People need to understand Rigo's brilliance and although it hurts me, Agbeko made the fight boring not Rigondeaux. He felt the master's speed and power and hesitated every time he was going to throw. Rigo did try to be more offensive, it's just that Agbeko didn't engage. He was the challenger, his duty was to try and take the belt from the champ and he just stopped trying and was more concerned about not getting hit.

rigondeaux is going to keep winning and people will have to aknowledge him sooner or later, he's one of the most (if not THE most) talented boxer right now.

The better fights are held up by promotional and weight class issues. We've already discussed the Santa Cruz problem, but there's also the issue of Rigo not wanting to move up. Even Donaire has become questionable, since he wants to go up in weight. Guillermo is begging for opponents. Pretty soon, he might have to take a real risk and go to 126. He's such a small guy, though. I think he would suffer too great a weight disadvantage.

I love watching Rigondeaux. There's some kind of conspiracy that Arum has tried to engineer after Rigondeaux schooled one of his prized assets (especially after the trouble he had with GoldenBoy in acquiring his services). Ask yourself if you doubt Rigo why none of his opponents let their hands go or can't hit him when they do!? The man is a genius in that squared circle.

Oh get the fuck outta here with that. Conspiracy??

                      Ridiculous.

I am one of those that believe Rigo will improve offensively with just a little work. He doesn't need that much. He has so much talent that I don't think it will take much.

I don't like the comparisons of Ward and Floyd because as I already posted , Floyd and Ward know how to turn it up a notch. For example , Dawson for Ward.

Arum is probably the one most interested in making Rigo a star and use his talents to make millions.

                      Rigo will get there.
