pac and floyd chose their opponents.
you do realized that every fight pac and floyd fights at 147, the odds will always favor them. so basically pac and floyds fight at 147 is always a cherry pick.
the only non cherry pick fight is if they fight each other.

statements:
1.pac will be favored againts any welterweight not name floyd
2.floyd will be favored againts any welterweight not name pac

at that 2 statement let us derived some questions.

1. is pac not relevant?
2.is pac not the best fight for floyd at welterweight?
3.does pac needed to fight marquez or bradley to get to mayweather?

What is amazing is that people considerCorrales,Canelo, Cotto, Mosely, Oscar,etc all cherry-picks...the fact is, they were coming off of GREAT performances and at the top of their weight divisions. In fact if these guys fought anyone else, they would be called cherry-pickers..

These were all fighters that Floyd was criticized BEFORE the fight and people said he wouldn't fight them...then when he does-you guys b1tch up and down because he made it easy.

Even now, if Floyd fought Pac, he would be criticized for not having the fight a few years back.As much as I want that fight there would be a lot of backpeddling after the results.

You guys want Floyd fighting guys with such an advantage like GGG and Martinez because you know the only shot they have at Floyd is because they are naturally 2 weight classes above Mayweather-that is a testament to greatness, when the only chance someone has to beat him has to be that much bigger.Why don't you guys expect Manny to fight guys 2 weight classes above himself instead of 2 weight classes BELOW?

I think it is mainly because our older generation of great fighters always moved up in weight even when they did not need to. Even though Floyd is a legit 140lber fighting at 147 he could still possibly fight at 160. If you claim you are the GOAT then you have to mirror or surpass our older generation of great fighters who went above and beyond to prove their greatness. Floyd is a all time great fighter, I believe nobody takes anything away from his boxing skills but with that, most fans and haters believe he has the ability and skill to fight fighters who out weight him by 15-20 lbs and still come out on top. Yes he has proved he is one of the best technical boxers ever but in this current state of boxing there are no real match make ups where anyone can say he is biting off more than he can chew unless he moves up. He does not have to move up don't get me wrong but to claim your the GOAT I believe you have to do as other proven GOAT fighters have done and fight people you have no business fighting. Same goes for Pacman. Or he could just fight pacman take that win and retire. 2013 Pacman is easy pickings vs a game 2009 pacman.

Floyd has always cherry picked. Its not about fighting people coming off of wins. Who cares that FLoyd fought SSM and DLH coming off of wins, the important factor is that they lost a hundred fights between them and past their primes and not the best p4p fighters.

Floyd is a cherry picker because he don't strike when the iron is hot. He should have fought Pac years ago. He was accused of ducking DLH and SSM and being scared, because he was not doing any fighting at all. But fighting them is no big deal they were last generations greats and he got them at the end of their careers as did Pac.

Pac has moved up more so than Floyd, so I don't see your point. Pac is still fighting top p4p fighters whereas Floyd hasn't in his last 3 or 4 fights. Yup, the goal post is full of cherries. It's a coveted artifact only meant to be found by true warriors, but the quest for finding the goal post has now been foretold as impossible to be found. The one who holds it has become a major **** and only fights not for glory, but for easy paychecks.

First of call , what the hell has Pac done to be " number 1 " ? He got knocked out by Marquez and beat an hand picked fighter( coming of a loss) to make him look good that makes him number 1 ? LMAO. Pac doesnt need Floyd right now , he needs to fight Bradley. Having all said that , do I want to see Pac-Floyd , of course I do.Also Floyd is the highest paid athlete in boxing history , at the last chapter of his career , 8 time world champ in 5 different weight classes so the hard work has been done already.
