I didnt say Cotto was Manny Pacquiao but he does have good speed. And if he has no defense why is he a +9 on compubox +- as a junior middleweight. .. why was the most accurate puncher in the sport able to land only 25% margarito 17%, and even in a not great performance trout only landed 29%.... hes much better defensively as a jmw.... numbers dont lie.... Cotto is not flat footed he has very good foot speed and boxes on his toes quite a bit.... I dont know how you made that assessment.

Haters will hate the truth is that this is a very competitive fight of wish I got Cotto stopping Sergio around the 10th round. Dont be fooled, Miguel will come into the ring with the best preparation ever.
Cotto can cut the ring, somethimg that Sergio passed opponets could not. Miguel's ring IQ is one of the best in boxing. His foot work, hand speed are excellent! His jab! What a beauty! His left hook is deadly and his right hand is back!
Cotto body work will be key, and we will see him rise, and WIN vs Martinez and crown as the New Lineal MW Champion of the World!!!!!

Cotto/Martinez would be very entertaining. I like both but would want Cotto to get the nod for history's sake.
The fight's winner would depend on Sergio's "legs" and ability to move. IMO.Comment

this is like cherry pickers dream fight. Martinez is cherry picking cotto because he's not very good especially at 154 and at 160 holy crap he's going to be even worse. cotto is cherry picking Martinez because Martinez has no knees. 2 Floyds up!Comment

cotto vs martinez is better for canelo so i don't understand why team canelo is so eager for a cotto fight. they're not gonna put him in with lara, so he's got nothing to worry about.
since he's interested in these boutique fights, fighting either of them after this fight would be good for him. there is still that junior that can happen at that weight too.Comment
