All that in 3 rounds against a bum who didn't punch back.

Lol. The guy talking about analyzing more in depth yet he fails to analyze the opposition.

I pick Martinez to win by K.O against Cotto, Canelo or Mayweather !
he wins K.O or MD against GGG in a very competitive fight !
I know he is almost 40, but I can't judge him on his performance against Murray, there was raining and his home crowd for the first time in his career, it was a huge pressure to put a show and not just win a fight, I believe Murray won that fight !

Good retirement fight for Martinez. Its a shame Mayweather never moved up to MW to fight him.

That's strange because I figured a sellout in 24 hrs.

Are Argentines really the 2nd biggest community in NY ?? Not that I'd have first hand knowledge but that surprised me.

Isn't there an outdoor stadium this can be held at which could bring a larger crowd adding to the atmosphere.

there might be an outdoor stadium available ,we have to wait on what arum says, he was building one for the mayweather vs pacquiao fight, that's why the fight didnt happen so it should be complete by now.

"most people dont know **** about boxing"

To everyone acting as if Cotto is just going to get washed by Martinez....

YOUR BUGGIN... this is a competitive fight. Cotto is no slow foot european robot like most of Martinez opponents. Cotto has extremely good foot speed, which is the real reason floyd didnt jump on his bike (dont wanna get caught moving backwards)... not a big difference in hand speed, slight edge to martinez but hes not as fast as you all make him seem... the fact is Sergio will spend the entire fight moving away from Cotto and using angles but hes never dealt with an opponent who has Cotto's speed and skill set. Cotto would also look extremely fast against guys like Macklin, barker, murray, and drunken Pavlik. THOSE GUYS WERE ALL ABLE TO HIT AND DROP SERGIO... does anyone really believe he wont be hit MORE by a faster more skilled Cotto?... do you truly believe that Sergio will be able to counter Cotto at will being that Floyd was only able to land 25% of his shots on Cotto? Is sergio more accurate? Not according to compubox.... in the words of Bernard Hopkins, "Cotto is very underrated defensively, he has very good defense... im picking Cotto to stop Sergio in the middle rounds.
