I applaud both of your great, intuitive replies. I am so convinced, I denounce everything I previously said.

Read the OP and the thread. I'll simplify it for you. What has Lucas accomplished in the sport of boxing? Is he a major title holder? Is he in the top 10 P4P? How many marquee wins does he have?

What has Lucas Matthysse accomplished in the sport of boxing? WBC interim title is the only title he's ever held. He has very good, not great wins on his ledger. He's a legit top 3 JWW right now.

Is he a major title holder? No.

Is he top 10 P4P? No.

How many marquee wins does he have? The Peterson win might qualify as a marquee win for some.

You needed someone to tell you these things?

You just proved my point. He's accomplished next to nothing. Yet, people like you hyped him up beyond belief. You look foolish when you hype somebody up who has done very little. I thought he was supposed to put Danny in the hospital?

Going into the fight with Garcia I couldn't believe how overhyped Lucas was. Some on here would of picked him to beat Duran and Chavez sr, the way they were hyping him.

He is good fighter who has fought and beaten some good names, for me he has only just come onto his own in the last 18 months and hopefully we get to see him against more top fighters at 140/147 or even a Garcia rematch. The easiest thing to do in boxing as a fan is to cut a boxers résumé to pieces. It can be done to any boxer but I believe we are only just seeing a little part of Lucas, am not one for hype but I was pretty hyped when he KO Pederson and I saw Garcia as looking intimidated at ringside, Garcia got in there and did his thing and won on the night.

You're acting as if Matthysse got dominated or some****.

As for this thread, I can't believe how many people fall for bait threads. Lol

No shame in losing to DG.

Funny thread. No one at 140 is in the top 10 P4P. (I believe DG should be top 10, but most places don't list him.)

                    Belts are meaningless.

Matthysse is still a top guy at 140.

We get it, he was over-hyped and lost. Yet it's funny that DG's best win is over Matthysse, who also has a pretty weak resume. (Khan and Matt [hype job who apparently sucks]). So DG only has one good win, right? Does Khan even count, considering he's been exposed since that fight?

                    loling.
