I think the failings of the shoulder roll style on a fighter who lacks the skillset to really use it is now becoming evident. Broner and Berto are both good examples of the failings of the style when you lack the unique abilities of a Mayweather or a Rigondeaux.

That makes me think, actually, that people should be calling Rigondeaux the next Mayweather. Stylistically, I mean. He's the only one even close to him technically.

Or maybe, we should wait to see who's the FIRST "whatever the next P4P great's name happens to be" instead of the "next" Floyd.

Last I checked, its only two people wearing gloves allowed in the ring at a time. Therefore, you're on you're own for the most part.

BTW, soldiers go into "battle." They're risking their lives for a greater cause. Boxers don't go into battle. They go into a sporting competition. Don't get the two twisted.

He beat Paulie, a future Floyd Opponent.

Just watch, Floyd WILL fight Paulie down the line. LMAO.

In the ideal world that would be how it'd go. But boxing like most sports will always seek to find the next version of whoever was the absolute pinnacle of their sport.

The way Paulie fought Broner he would give May a better fight than Broken. We know he won't beat May but we never know. Some boxer's loose to the one we don't think will beat them.

Very common. I do it too. Really was just doing a lil ball busting. I remember discussing with a couple buddies how Broner-Valero wwas gonna be the next generation's poormans version of Floyd-Pac.

However, I think Valero had the ability to be special. Obviously, it appears at the moment that AB doesn't.
