If Vasyl gets the job done against Salido, which I think he will do (but it will be tough, of course), then I don't think he should go for Rigo immediately, even if he looks amazing v Salido. Bearing in mind Vasyl is a seriously confident in himself and has youth and a bit more freshness on his side, he may want to take on Rigo straight away, but I think to really build that fight up and make sure both sides are fully prepared I would say Vasyl would do well taking around 2 tune-ups at least, maybe if someone of a similar style to Rigo is available, and same for Rigo vice versa. This might allow a bit more maturing and hype for the fight and make it look a bit more credible with Vasyl having more than 2 fights before going for such a big match-up, I think Rigo for his 5th fight could be a possibility and would be better than rushing into it. But we shall see...

I am not exactly sure what you're saying, but if I understand correctly you are saying that any professional boxer can beat an amateur?

I don't exactly believe that to be true. There are many amateurs out there that could probably beat more than a few pros.

My comment about it being professional boxing and not the amateurs is directed at Rigondeaux inability to get and audience and there for major fights. He fights like an amateur where he is content to pick up the points for the roundand move on to the next round. However, in the pros, where people are paying you to essentially entertain them, people are not satisfied with that style.
I'm not saying he needs to go balls to the wall crazy like Brandon Rios, but as I've stated in previous post, it would be nice to see him step on the gas once in a while. Especially when he is head and shoulders above his opponent.

Title is kind of insulting to Lomachenko. He has excellent technical skills and athletic abilites but isn't deadly allergic to risk like Rigo. He fights in an aggressive exciting style that will be appreciated by purists or casual fans and won't have a problem drawing viewers. Don't lump him in with Mr.Safety First Nyquil.

All else aside why does this so far hypejob even deserve a shot? Even if he beats salido he still wont want non of Rigo the media making the guy having to go into duck/save face mode with excuses and he aint even have 2 fights yet ****s embarrassing let the dude develop dont just try to ruin him so fast.

You have to pay your dues to face the king but he doesn't want to face the king at all so the talk is pointless.

Lomachenko has tons of respect for Rigo. That post fight interview was **** because of that ******ed interpreter...what is it with HBO? They can't get anyone to translate Spanish correctly in the US of all places, and now their russian interpreter is ****e too.

Anyway Lomachenko referred to Rigo as "Rigo is a great fighter, a master, and I need more fights before I can fight someone like him, of course I have a lot of respect for him"
Thanks for the interpretation. That's all I need to know.

Lyle proves once again that the only thing he is good for is slurping the junk of certain fighters of a particular ethnicity.
