Wow he looks very talented....Great prospect.

By the way his pro debut against PJ Cajigas has been taken down from Youtube.....But I did find another link to it on another website....

Egor Mekhontsev VS PJ Cajigas (Pro Debut)....He starts slow and measured, but then really picks it up and throws bombs in the 3rd round....

He'll either be back in Macau or GGG/JCC JR

Best of both worlds if he's back on both

Has anyone seen his fight against Dwayne Williams on Friday Night Fights from last April???

I heard he was the most impressive fighter of the night....And that he put a real beat-down on his opponent.

          Mini Rakhim!

Credit to his opponent, tough kid. Looks huge at the weight.
So, he'll lose once he fights for a world title?

Yea it was supposed to be aired on Espn, but they didn't have time so they cut it off of the TV portion of the FNF show.....

But I heard he (Egor) had the most dominant performance of the entire night...And that it took Williams a few minutes to get up from the canvas.

I will do the same for you if I can find it....

He fought this weekend against Jinner Guerrero improving his record to 6-0 with 6 K.Os, he is fighting again on the 28th for what will be his fourth fight in as many months.

Can not find the video of his most recent fight, this is getting annoying.

I read Mekhontsev lost to a 18 year old Irish kid in the ams when he was 27. He looks good though.

Hmm could be that Irish kid that fought I think on the Wilder vs Gavern card, I recall a young, Irish prospect who was an amateur stand out but forget his name.

Edit; Jason Quigley but found out it wasn't him but Joseph Ward who fought in WSB and just turned pro.
Looks like he was a very good amateur, one to keep an eye on.
