Only thing is he gets hit too! His defense is not good and when Mediana hits him he'll know it! he needs to get out of South America and get to Northern Calif. or Vegas or LA were he can get the best sparring and the best trainers!

Aaah Matthysse vs Maidana would be an unbelievable match-up.

At 140, I think Matthysse wins, at 147 it'd be a closer fight but I'd still be 60/40 in favour of Matthysse.

What a killer, beats Soto ****in' Karass and that ****house Broner and all of a sudden hes apparently some elite fighter.

Lmao you think Lucas wouldn't of obliterated both of those guys? He'd stop Broner! He is a far better finisher than Maidana. Once Lucas has you hurt, you're not getting off the hook.

I just dont see how you can think lucas is so much better than maidana, when maidana has proved he can withstand an onslaught in a dogfight, and lucas has shown he has trouble vs top level guys that punch back...

Remind me again of the fight that lucas won, when the other guy and take a punch and punch back, garcia is the only one on his resume that fits that bill and garcia broke lucas down

I think it is an even fight at either weight. It would be a great fight but I don't want to see two of my favorite fighters beating each other up. I would like to see Matthysse get a rematch with Garcia and Maidana get a rematch with Khan with a better referee or Alexander.
