    And khan may have squeaked by Maidana, but he is still coming off a ko loss and a struggle match against Diaz where he pretty much got knocked pillar to post. Boxing isn't always about who but WHEN. Khan would've been an alright choice a while back. Not now. Maidana is the one coming off of great career defining wins. Not Khan. Maidana deserves the shot over Amir Khan, unequivocally.
    Using the same argument, Pacquiao isnt worthy of fighting Mayweather given that he just got his ass knocked out and then fought Rios. Cant have it both ways, people.

      Maidana has what it takes to beat Floyd as well. He has showed that. He break through Floyds phaggot little defense. Floyd cant take steady pressure. Cotto proved that. Maidana 35ww 31 kos isnt nothing to take lightly. He can hit. Floyd cant hurt him. Nor will he have his way with him.
      Floyd wont fight him though. To dangerous!

      floyd=Coward
      Utterly delusional. I recall Cotto losing by unanimous decision. He had a couple good flurries that connected and that was about it. That was also with Roger in his corner. Put Chino in there and you will see the same thing that happens to everyone who tries that come forward crap; he'll get hit and stop throwing punches. Lara is the only one that gives Floyd a legit chance of losing. Maybe Bradley....maybe.

        If Maidana fights Floyd you will see Gatti vs Mayweather all over again. Some of y'all get caught up in the hype way too fast, just like with Matthyse since he lost everybody has jumped off his nuts and now their own to the next guy. Y'all put these guys on a pedestal way too fast.

          Ha Ha Good point! But just because everyone jumped off Matthysse's nuts Doesn't mean he isn't still a great fighter. He's still right up there with Garcia as the best at 140.

          Maidana on the other hand I agree, he's still not a great fighter, although he has improved. He still throws wild at times and he almost gassed himself out in the 2nd round when he couldn't close Broner out (which I think he should have been able to)

          Floyd toys with Maidana and probably KO's him because he actually has the heart to keep comin forward unlike recent Floyd opponents (ahem!)

            Which equates to Chino having a chance, unlike the fool who said he had NO CHANCE.

              He'd have a better chance at Pacquiao. I wouldn't mind seeing that!

                I said for the SEVENTH TIME that I would pick Mayweather to win. You cannot get that through your pea brain! YOU are the one who said Maidana had NO CHANCE to win, those are YOUR words! I say there is NO CHANCE that the Sun will not come up tomorrow and I am willing to bet everything I own against someone's 100 bucks that the Sun will come up! That is the same reverse analogy. If someone believes there is NO CHANCE for Maidana to win then they should be willing to bet everything against a 100 bucks just like I am willing to bet everything I own against someone else's 100 bucks that the Sun will come up tomorrow because there is NO CHANCE that it will not. Only a FOOL who is a newbie to Boxing would say Maidana has NO CHANCE. I will help you here, Maidana has a small chance of an upset but most likely Floyd wins the fight. Saying "NO CHANCE" is an exaggeration and you exaggerated. And don't give me that DQ crap. Barring a DQ, Maidana has MORE than NO CHANCE.

                  I agree I think Matthysse can still beat the best at 140 but he's not the machine people tried to make him out to be. People get caught up in the KO's but don't pay attention to who they are fighting.

                  Maidana got a good win but I really think this was more about Broner not being what he was made out to be and that's exactly what I'm saying, these guys look good against average fighters who can't exploit the flaws we all see and people fall into the hype.

                    Thank you! Floyd would pick Maidana apart. He isn't Broner and while Kahn is not deserving of a shot w Floyd at this time he would bring more excitement to the fight.

                      lol yeah, I'd love to see this fight so Floyd can show Broner how it's done.
