So yes he could, if he prepares properly, sits down with a brother ****m richardson and gets educated on how to counter the shoulder roll and cut off the ring..yeah he could. Yet you are asking for certainty and what i've expressed over and over again here is there is no certainty in boxing. Maidana got outboxed by Alexander, he has a zero shot at beating Floyd. He beat a C level fighter in Broner and now Maidana is king, smh. I wouldn't pay a dime to see Floyd vs Maidana, we already know how the fight will go with Maidana winning Zero rounds.

If you watched Saturday night this isn't the same fighter who faced Devon Alexander,he's made a lot of improvements how much improvement we don't know yet. Funny how as recently as saturday nobody here was calling Broner a C level fighter but now that he lost and Maidana can potentially face Floyd, Broner is now complete trash...

You JUST used the percentage of 99.9 percent. How ****** is that percentage which is based on NOTHING? If you think the Vegas odds would place Maidana at a lower percentage chance of beating Floyd than Douglass was of beating Tyson, you are hopelessly brain dead and need to be pulled off life support. I respect what you've said and I understand your opinion but I will peacefully disagree with parts of it but Roy Jones really shouldn't be fighting today and I held him at a great level of respect so I really don't want to sit here and tarnish the man's prime nor gloat over it.

I don't really see how acknowledging that he was a technically flawed fighter tarnishes his prime. The guy had a decade long run as P4P King. So technically flawed or not, he still produced at a level not many have ever reached. Nothing he's done since will change that.

I have very mixed emotions on Roy Jones these days and getting all into that is going to open old wounds for me as a boxing fan. I'm being 100% honest with you on that, I don't discuss Roy for that same reason I just gave you. You watch boxing long enough and you'll end up with your own version of a fighter who just simply broke you with their choices.
