Comments Thread For: Maidana Open To Broner Rematch, Eyes Mayweather

Marcos “Chino” Maidana not only became a world champion again in a second weight division, he also took Adrien Broner’s zero from his loss column as he defeated him over 12 rounds this past Saturday night.

This is arguably the biggest victory of Maidana’s career as he pulled off the huge upset over his heavily favored rival. There have been reports of Broner wanting an immediate rematch and Maidana is ready to give it to him if he wants it.

Thurman/Maidana. If Maidana wins that one, fuck it, give him to Mayweather.

Maidana gets badly outclassed by Mayweather IMO. However, he has earned his shot more than Khan has. I'd like to see a rematch it would be more competitive and make for a great fight.

Please boxing gods. I'm not really excited about Khan although I think he's intelligent and could sell the fight. Maidanas style would make it an entertaining fight.

          No need for a rematch

but i bet haymon and watson are clamoring for one! Itll probably happen cause theyre going to throw a sh.itload of money at chino. I'd love to see Thurman vs Chino!

If i could draw up a fight card, this would be it

          May/pac
          Chino/thurman
          Garcia/provo
          Matthyse/bradley

Maidana's come forward style is not going to work with Mayweather. You need a smarter boxer to beat Floyd.

Hmmm not sure if that would make business sense to put those all on 1 bill. Could the Bradley/matthysse be a main event fight?

And to comment on the article, I suspect mayweather is doing cartwheels as he now has another contender whos style is made for him to beat 12 clean rounds and gets to avoid the PAC man.
