It doesn't even matter because Floyd only really does it when he is on the ropes. In the middle of the ring he always moving around throwing his straight right hand or lead left hooks into straight right hands and sometimes mixing it up with uppercuts. Broner like a idiot shelled up in the middle of the ring when really he should have been using his feet to avoid Maidana's punches and countered off of that. Also Broner is ****** because he goes into a shell when a guy is throwing overhand rights. Maidana didn't expose the shell itself, he just exposed Broner's shell because Broner has fought nothing but bums that he would look great against. Floyd has better reflexes then Broner and his shoulder roll is far better because he knows how to counter properly. Floyd loves when a fighter throws a lot of punches at him because it gives him a lot to counter off of.

When Floyd uses the shoulder roll he always counters in the middle of his opponents attack to stop them in their tracks. He will usually throw a fast straight right hand or a fast snapping right uppercut. Floyd uses the shell much more properly then Broner. Broner just sits in the shell and tries to talk you down. Like I said before he got away with it fighting bums.

While I agree with some of your points, what you don't understand about Floyd is that he avoids risks. That includes when he counters. Yes Floyd will counter someone who only has a decent right hand and relatively no left BUT Floyd will not counter someone who has 2 good effective hands and especially when they are coming with power. NO WAY ... too risky for FLoyd hence he would not counter often. Then it would depend on the situation on hand.

The only thing is that Floyd is a true WW who had been fighting there or higher for many many years and that he has good movement that can give some fighters problems compared to the more stationary version named Broner. So someone like Maidana might not be able to handle the movement, the experience and effectiveness that Floyd has that Broner doesn't have.

BUT Maidana did have some of the attributes that a fighter should have that would be effective against the shoulder roll. Yes, even Floyd's shoulder roll. Castillo proved it against Floyd. Maidana against Broner. That is why some southpaws or those with a good left hand has given Floyd the occasional problem as well. Unfortunately, those opponents lacked on abilities in other categories so they couldn't take FULL advantage ....

I hope Khan takes notes from what he saw last Saturday night. You can't throw 1-2 combinations against the Philly Shell. You have to throw 4-5 punch combinations in order to connect. Their system is designed for stationary targets with slow, 2-3 punch combinations and then they reset to rinse and repeat. Maidana exposed how you beat these philly shell fighters. Bully them, make it a rough and ugly fight (they get uncomfortable) and throw 4-5 punch combinations.

This is why Floyd keeps avoiding Pacquiao, Pac throws powerful fast combinations from all sorts of angles. The Philly Shell is not designed for those type of fighters.

You don't know **** about boxing. Bradley can actually fight on the inside. He's very hard to hit on the inside, and outside. Can box. Knows how to use his feet and angles. Doesn't quit. Can fight going forwards or backwards.

Apparently we disagree, instead of getting myself emotionally involved in this internet-disagreement I'd rather just present the facts.
Maidana could not KO Khan and he showed a very different chin in that fight, than posters on this forum than some posters are willing to admit. Look the 12th round again, see for yourself. I'm not saying it's impossible for Mayweather to get the KO, but imagine it goes the distance, no one Mayweather has ever met has had this type of speed.

What doubt or questions are there that Pacquiao hasn't answered?

They say he couldn't handle a real welterweight. He Destroyed Cotto.

They said he avoided Slick, Young, Prime African American Fighters. He beat Timothy Bradley, The third best Welterweight Next to Mayweather and Pacquiao.

They say he lost his Killer Instinct. He was battering Marquez and was constantly going in for the kill and got caught while being too aggressive and got knocked out, because Marquez(A career counter puncher) has been trying to set him up for the perfect shot for 10 years and 40+ rounds, and he finally did it.

They say the Knockout Ruined him, and he looked like Floyd Mayweather against Brandon Rios, Winning every round and hardly getting hit, displaying his mastery of the Sweet Science.

What more do you people want? What does Pacquiao have to do next? He's already done everything.

not trying to **** on rios but in all fairness rios sucks just came off a lost and had never fought at welterweight so pac looked good but 09 pac would have got the ko. he is def not the same fighter
