After all the negative talk, what a great night of boxing Saturday

I overly enjoyed myself Saturday watching these fights. Only fight I did not watch was Canelo brothers fight. Other than that, top to bottom it was a great night of fights. Thurman got his wake up call very early in the fight and came back to dominate. Santa Cruz was in another slugfest (he gets hit a little too much). Broner/Maidana is a fight I can watch over and over again. Even though Broner clearly lost, he stayed competitive throughout, but he CLEARLY gets touched entirely too much. Just an excellent night of boxing overall. I was very satisfied.

I agree. It was an excellent card. I'm having a hard time thinking of a better card this year as far as action and excitement.

Yeah for this to be the last card was incredible. The crowd was on its feet for about a total of 4 rounds during the main event. The crowd was so live

That was the best card this year yes. If Mattysse/Danny had headlined it's own card, it may have been just as good. But they needed that to sell Floyd.

So many nice possibilities for the Canelo and Floyd undercard too. It was such a great night of boxing Saturday

Yeah because Floyd vs Canelo couldn't sell on it's own. Mayweather needed PPV stars Garcia and Lucas to sell the card.

Remember when everyone took a **** on this card saying it wasn't PPV worthy and full of mismatches throughout? Turned out to be the complete opposite in terms of excitement
