I think the fight was a lot closer than people think.. But dam Miadana kept hurting Broner.. Which was the difference.. I think Broner hurt Miadana too but he wasn't able to sustain it..

But BRONER'S lack of good defense is what we're talking about here. You think he had good defense? He backed straight up with his guard down when he got knocked down by that wide a$$ left hook in the second round! The shots in the 8th were much tighter and more difficult to defend. But that first one? ****! He defended poorly against it while he was fresh and never really recovered from it!Really??? Let's see. Floyd, the best defensive fighter of his era was rocked by Mosley, "Chop Chop" Corley, and dropped by Judah. Rigondeaux, arguably the best denfensive fighter in the world today has been dropped multiple times. Ward, one of the best defensive fighters in the game was hurt badly by a Darnell Boone who has about 20 loses. Sweet Pea, the best defensive fighter of his era, was dropped multiple times in his career. What do all of these guys have in common. They're all better defensively that AB and have been rocked. Moral of the story, getting cught and rocked doesn't mean you're not good defensively.Comment

Lol, Great Title. Green KThe downfall of the tragic hero? An overrated punk that makes videos of himself flushing money or having sex with hookers, that's a hero? It should be rephrased as the "quiet hero triumphantly defeats the ugly ogre and sends him back to the stinky swamp where he truly belongs. During the ogre's embarrassing march to the swamp, the jubilant villagers pelted him with rocks, tomatoes and whatever rubbish they could find."Comment

And I see exactly why you're buried in red karma. Your "comment" makes absolutely no sense. Broner has skills & with the proper trainer he can maximize his talent. He has a decent foundation & can bounce back if he changes his corner & puts in the hard work at the gym. Rios (whom I like) is a tough pressure fighter with poor lateral speed. Skill wise he's limited.Comment

da fuq are people over analyzing this. Broner isnt that good. Beating up on weaker people he could overpower without much skill and walking them down was easy - Rees, Demarco, Escobedo, Eloy Perez (poor little guy) while looking vulnerable against quality opponents (Malignaggi, PDL) in which more movement and skill was required
He's not that good, period. Move on to the next flavor of the monthComment

Broner is an ass. He acted like an ass before the fight, he acted like an ass trying to hump Maidana in the fight, then acted like an ass afterwards by not interviewing and giving Maidana his congratulations in front of the fans, Broner is an ass and got his ass beat bad. He is a sorrry ass..Comment
