The problem is he can't make 135 anymore, and he will inevitably fight big punchers at 140 and 147. He's a really good fighter, but he also has an attitude problem. And understandably so, Broner is only 23 years of age. It's clear he has a problem with pressure fighters, he needs to address that.
Broner Doesnt Suck, I Was At The Rees Fight

Little Gavin Rees is European Level. He was never a big puncher anyway, but his punches had even less sting after moving down from Light Welter. He was landing on Broner constantly. Broner used his physical advantages against smaller guys.
Broner faced a guy around his own size in Malignaggi and went life and death with him, which should have had the alarm bells ringing. No offence to Paulie, he's a good fighter but he doesn't hit hard. He's a gatekeeper. Broner finally faced a guy his own size who can punch, and he was found out. The very definition of exposed!Comment

Broner isn't a bad fighter but his entire career up until maidana consisted of fighter much smaller men who couldn't really hit back
He was exposed for having no back up plan or movement, I mean he was literally outboxed by maidanaComment

"Broner doesn't suck. He beat Rees."
Lmao GTFO. You're such a sorry ass apologist. Who the fk is Rees and who had he beaten? No to mention Broner had like a whole foot in height advantage on this dude.

Footwork, work-rate and defense and he'd be legit. He has the speed and counter ability; his chin isn't too bad either. The big thing is if he he actually will take anything from this and use it to move forward. A rematch is intriguing.Comment
