Warrior's don't fake injuries and cry to the ref in that level of desperation.

And now you want us to give him credit for making it the distance while getting beat down on the cards and KD'd twice in a humiliating loss in which he claimed prior that he was going to smoke Maidana in spectacular fashion?

And you want him to get credit??

Broner made the classic mistake of believing his own publicity. Leaving the ring like he did made clear one thing, that Broner's a first rate, second rate guy.

Broner did show a lot of heart. He took a lot of shots that would have made most fighters quit. He's just not on the level of Floyd and probably won't ever be.

This thread could have ended after this post. Nailed it.

Screw Broner and the garbage hype-machine that created "it". Broner doesn't even have its own personality.

It's because almost everybody picked Broner to win,and he lost. He can take a shot but he was picked to win against Maidana big time. So the focus is not on the fact that he lasted the distance.

Because he didn't fight toe to toe he clinched, elbowed, and held, Maidana the entire time and used every dirty and illegal tactic he could possibly do and when all that still didn't work to he tried to exaggerate his way to a DQ victory. Then to top it off after he lost he walked out and showed no honor.

I gave Broner his due props for giving his all last night and hang with Maidana until the last round. But his overall performance was way too short for fans being impressed. He was expected to win and instead got out-classed all through out the fight.

Noone is talking about that on here. These so called boxing fans, are just that, fans. They are not realistic at all. For AB to be the smaller fighter, he took the necessary risks to be great and didn't care about his "0", unlike someone else I know. MM should've stopped him in the 2nd. How come he didn't? This fight was more about what AB didn't do as opposed to what MM did.
Maidana got up from a liver shot, he ain't close to being stopped.

Ab didn't do? He fought how he always has! Stand in front, take shots and fade. If he can hurt you then he does well, if not he never boxes. Ab can not maintain a high work rate!

Maidana fought how he does. Maidana always had a jab, but his hooks are way faster than people say. From the first time I saw him vs kotelnik he does the same thing. His first outting at 147 he looked terrible but since then he's adjusted.

Broner did good going up but he was manufactured fighting guys with no power or c level in pdl, demarco and Paulie. These guys can't beat b level guys.

Maidana is even c level who can't beat some of the top guys.

Prety much this. He was taking cheapshots, he had the ref on his side and still tried to feign his way out of the fight.

I don't like him but Berto fought like a warrior v Ortiz and Karass with one arm. Broner just looked for easy ways out, he didn't quit, but he tried to con his opponent out of the fight.

Very very well said bro! And lets also not forget that he only made it to the distance because he used every dirty and illegal tactic he could possibly use and had all the blessings of the ref when doing so. In a clean fight Maidana KO's him.
