The Fight No one wants floyd to take

    But he should.
This fight won't sell well but that shouldn't always dictate if a fight should happen or not. Besides Pacman, Imo Lara is the guy that would give floyd a real challenge and have a good chance at winning.

People and some floyd fans complain that he does not sell and he's styles not good, but thats a bogus excuse. Boxing is about fighting the best regardless of styles, I dont care if its going to be a chess match, I wana see who will come up on top.
Floyd is a champion at 154, so NO ONE should come with the weight excuse as well.

Lara is a very good fighter, He went through adversity with angulo but came up on top. He has very good skills, power, speed and is a southpaw.

He is an avoided fighter, Canelo doesn't want anything to do with him coz he's a major risk. Golden boy seems like they don't wana get him any big fights coz he will ruin a lot of plans.

Garcia doesn't wana fight floyd, so people should stop calling for that fight. Thurman still has some maturing to do before he thinks of fighting floyd, he's a good fighter though.

No one at 140-154 besides Pacman and Lara, realistically has a chance against floyd and all of you know that.

For obvious reasons Im not mentioning the pacquiao fight.

I'm a big Lara fan too, but for Lara, I want Canelo, and I think Lara does as well.

I'd love to see Lara beat Canelo and fight Floyd, not that it's likely.

I'd much rather see Thurman vs Mayweather

Lara vs Mayweather would be a ZZZZZZzzzz snoozefest even for the purists

Not really, I would be highly intrigued. Better than watching two bozos just lean on each other and trade punches.

Floyd-Lara sucks from an excitement standpoint
but it's the only competitive fight Floyd has left
nobody else has any chance of beating him
of all the JWW-JMW guys there, Lara alone can possibly win
for that reason, would like to see it, but it'll never happen

how is it an excuse when the guy can barely make 150 pounds and is in his 5th weight class? its dumb. You want thim to move up and do things. Then when he does, he gets hated for not cleaning out the division. Its like people complain about him not fighting Sergio at MW. Then if he does and wins, he suddenly will be ripped for not fighting Triple G or any other MW. You cant do that. He is a champion because he's that good. That doesnt mean he has to fight every guy.

The reason why you think Lara could win is because he's a natural 154 pounder. Why dont yout tell me about some 140 or 147 pound guys who can beat Floyd? You dont wanna see any of those matches because he's so good that he cant fight guys his own size. He has to give away a million pounds in his 5th division or be called a ***** if he doesnt. Its a joke. The same people dont demand for anyone at 154 to move up even just one classs but teh guy in his 5th divison who doesnt even come close to making the weight is the scared *****? Tell me how that works

                My exact sentiments.

You have people saying Mayweather's weight class is Jr Middleweight!

The guy's had 3 fights there and has never weighed in more 151 lbs and comes to the ring at 150 lbs.

Yet somehow, Mayweather's weight class is Jr Middlweight

do you wanna see competitive fights or not?
Floyd has 1 potential fight that's competitive, and that's Lara
he's won a couple belts at JMW, so size isn't an excuse
nobody on earth thought Alvarez could do anything with Floyd
he had size, but nothing else to complement it
Pac's shot now, so Lara is the one fight that challenges Floyd

Just accept that May 3rd 2014 is a throwaway fight. All the welterweight GBP options are trash.

Lara won't happen because there is no money and casuals will call it boring.

                    Khan it is.
