The thing that shocked me most about this fight was the scorecards being reasonable. Judges doing their god damn job bravo to you three.

Telling freinds last night if they robbed

El-Chino of this great victory, it would be a crime committed against everyone who ever worked hard into anything they have ever done in their lives.
We would curse the state of TX, the commissioners who run the board, GBP, SHO, the local promoters, G.W. Bush, and everything evil in life!

Maidana, would have been another innocent victim of this corrupt sport!
Finally truth, justice, and a two fisted attack prevails in this sport!

wasn't really too tough to tough to score cus of broners inactivity, he let chino do 2x the work he did and all he did mostly was fight to survive and not win

Not too far off from my own. I gave Broner more rounds than the judges maybe because I give more credence to landing clean shots over their impact. The judges clearly thought the latter.

            Maidana scored first

            1:10-9
            2:10-8
            3:10-9
            4:9-10
            5:9-10
            6:9-10
            7:9-10
            8:9-8
            9:10-9
            10:10-8
11:9-9 (close round, maidana gcaught up landed a lot more clearly on the body)
12:9-9 Broner busier earlier but missing or having Maidana block most of the shots, Maidana landed the more effective shots, bouncing left hooks off his face
            Total:113-109 Maidana
Disgusting display of sportsmanship by Broner.

I might have messed up the latter part of the scorecard but hopefully made the right fix.

the only round i remember giving to broner cleanly was the 12th. he might've stolen a round or two between the 4th and 7th. clear victory for marcos.

Perks of joining Al Haymon is you are pretty much going to get fair scorecards. He is made out to be evil or something but the way Santa Cruz spoke about him and how he wouldn't be where he is without Haymon he sounded very genuine, that shows Haymon is not the "evil black activist" pro-Top Rank fans make him out to be. He's in charge of all of these Hispanics careers and doing a great job with getting them dates, Garcia, Lara, Maidana, Arreola, Matthysse, Santa Cruz, Lopez, Figueroa.

Maidana won most of the rds
he won them with decisively and with damage
he scored a couple KD's, and mighta had a 10-8 rd or 2 without KD's
thought for sure the judges were gonna rob him too
only surprise with the scores is that they were spot on

Yeah thats nice but that is not how boxing is scored with averages of possible rounds won on whoever's card.....Maidana clearly dominated most of the fight......very poor article.

                      and in texas no less!

i dont understand how the 8th round could have been scored 9-9 though, that was clearly a 9-8 round for maidana.
