This fight would be a joke. Tell Gayweather to fight Lara, Thurman, Martinez or PAC or shut the fladuck up cause we all know he will never face true boxers who can punch, has speed, move in the ring and that has ring IQ. This is why none of these fights will be ever made. He will hand pick opponents he has advantages over and win and claim he's the greatest when he's not. Atleast Broner has the balls to take the fights people want to see.

I would honestly say with confidence that Broner is far worse than Berto. Broner could get beaten by just about any top 10 WW. Before the Maidana fight I said every WW beats Broner except for Maidana, but now Maidana even beat him. Looking through the top 10, I mean there's really no one there that I think Broner beats.

If Mayweather fought Thurman next, everyone would say he's fighting a guy who only has one decent win, and is inexperienced.

Mayweather should fight Danny Garcia next, he deserves it. But Danny seems to want a tune up or two at 147 first. In that case, Maidana is there coming off three decent/good wins at 147, and just won a world title there.

Ridiculous matchup. Floyd wins every single round in an embarrassing blowout. I definitely would NOT buy the PPV.

I agree . All Maidana has is a punchers chance ! I don't think khan has even that and no chin like you said.

The only fight GBP should risk Maidana in is a Khan rematch, winner gets to fight Floyd September. Put Maidana in with Thurman or Porter and you risk him losing.
They should strike while the iron is hot, he's as hot as he's ever going to be right now, the Floyd fight makes the most sense right now from a promoters perspective.

Im not even sure Floyd saw the fight since he was courtside at the Bobcats vs Lakers game. Theres a chance he might of caught the main event.

As much as I would love to see Maidana get the well-earned payday, Floyd would absolutely annihilate him.

Not an intriguing fight whatsoever IMO.

i dont care what nobody says, maidana deserves the payday over glass jaw, chicken legged khan, i mean this is all its about, a race to the big money to get beat by floyd, maidana earned his rights to a floyd beating....but if floyd truly wanted a challenge, he would get over his beef with arum and fight pacquiao or ggg or martinez, i mean he cant keep calling himself the best and keep ducking the hard hitters. I would be pulling for maidana to win but one thing floyd has that broner doesnt is fast legs to run around the ring, maidana would be tired chasing him

Mayweather beating Maidana 12 rounds to 0 would do just that; as much as Broner respects Mayweather, I believe their was a huge part of him that believed he would soon overshadow his idol. Mayweather making sport of someone who gave him hell would only show that he will never be in Mayweather's league.
